Independent Contractor providing detailed home studies for families who are interesting in fostering, adopting, and providing kinship care through the Department of Family and Protective Services. Responsible for interviewing, assessing, and reporting of prospective foster/adopt parents for the potential placement of children within the guidelines and allotted time frames established by the contractor. Including assessment of the safety of homes and identifying risks and risk mitigation factors. Trainings include Trauma Informed Care, Cultural Competency, and Ethics.

Home Study Coordinator

Invoiced

Perform various accounting and clerical functions, like following up on invoices, paying bills, and completing new hire onboarding tasks. Assist in compiling data and generating reports. Book travel for team members to conferences and events. Keep office stocked with food, beverages, and supplies. Occasionally answer main phone line and route calls accordingly. Greet infrequent visitors in our office.
