Laura Thomas Fitness prides itself on conducting an in-depth analysis of clients to understand the physical and psychological limitations that may be holding them back from achieving their fitness goals.  

I do not offer quick fixes or coach intentional fat loss. I think fitness has many benefits for someone's lifetime.

I know that everyone has different time and commitment levels and have structured my coaching according to these factors where I can conduct check-ins either on the west side of Cleveland or online throughout the greater U.S.A. I also understand that life's demands will ebb and low and have created my offers to accommodate our ever-changing lives.

I am an ACE-certified Personal Trainer, a Certified Pre/Postnatal Coach with the Girls Gone Strong Coaching Women Training Academy, a Certified Yoga Teacher, and a Certified Online Coach with The Online Training Academy.

MassMutual of Springfield, Massachusetts purchased MetLife's retail adviser force.  I am still working with the same advisors in the state of Ohio.
~ Transitioned all firm web and social media from the MetLife name to the MassMutual DBA name of Lighthouse Wealth Solutions
  -Assisted advisors on this same transition with their websites, LinkedIn and Facebook
~ Updated all advisor bios and marketing materials needed immediately
~ Created business systems for 3 different advisors for their own DBA brand
~ Forged relationships with Sales and Marketing contacts at MassMutual to iron out marketing issues that have arisen with the company merger
~ Supports recruiting as the local marketing presence who assists with marketing plans, branding, etc.

Firm Marketing Coordinator

MetLife

~ Local marketing point-of-contact.  Assists in developing marketing plans for financial professionals in the three major Ohio markets with the regional MetLife central marketing team.
~ Oversees collaborative seminar events with third-party partners. Coordinates event with venue and creates invite for financial professionals to send to clients/prospects.
~ Serves as a liaison between the financial professionals and MetLife corporate. Troubleshoots issues with corporate compliance, public relations and other departments at MetLife as necessary.

212 Capital Group, a New England Financial Company

~ Researched target markets for local events &contacts, associations and branding opportunities including advertising, by-lined articles and seminar marketing for both financial professionals and the firm.
~ Generated layout and copy for internal newsletter and updated the company website.
~ Collaborated with three financial professional groups in launching their own brands.  Conceptualized the layout for the business cards, stationary & other marketing collateral by suggesting a different aesthetic in order to stand out in an industry not known for creativity.  
~ Working for a brand, you see how the advisors are trying to brand themselves in smaller markets by hosting local events, creating their own marketing collateral, etc.-

~ Conducted marketing presentation at “Boot Camp” for new financial professionals introducing them to 212 Capital Group.  Managed on-boarding with a press release, announcement cards, email marketing, set-up, etc.
~ Collateral- Designed the 212 Capital Group brochure,invitations for client events, ads for local branding and other marketing collateral in-house based on the request from the financial professional. I utilized some of my own photography and was aware that these pieces needed to be formatted for both print and email in a way that was attractive to clients/prospects and appropriate for the industry.

~ Designated managerial duties including opening and closing of the store, buying input and entering invoices.

~ Supervised all corporate identity materials: promotional items, camera-ready art, print ads including copy, imagery and layout and website for Westwater and four affiliate brands.
~ Facilitated media relations including press release distribution and media inquiries.

PR and Marketing Coordinator

Sarasota Film Festival

~ Assisted in organizing ticket sales, volunteers, basic schedule and registration for fundraising events which included “Dracula’s Ball” at Michael’s On East and “The Wool Cap” Florida premiere party with William H. Macy at the Van Wezel.  
~ Coordinated the move and set up for the satellite office location.  Duties included making sure that phone service, wireless internet and all computers and office supplies were in the space in an appropriate time-span.  
~ Designed the aesthetic look of the outdoor festival area with tents, stage setup, signage etc.  Managed the outdoor festival area which included the merchandise tent and the filmmaker lounge.
