• Track and analyze Section 482 Transfer Pricing issues and foreign tax positions relating to Levi Strauss & Co. and its worldwide affiliates.
• Perform analysis on tax exposures for each of the Levi Strauss affiliates and prepare transfer pricing documentation reports on Levi Strauss’ U.S. and foreign FIN 48 positions. 
• Prepare AFP (“Annual Financial Planning”) assumptions for the transfer price of each of the major intercompany transactions within Levi Strauss & Co., such as royalty payments, intercompany sale of finished goods, distribution and sourcing services fees, and sales agent commissions…etc.
• Design and create macro-coded templates for Hyperion and Essbase software for the purposes of data extraction and the automation of data analysis.
• Perform financial analysis for the application, renewal, and compliance of APA’s (“Advanced Pricing Agreements” – a binding contract with the Internal Revenue Services that determines the transfer price of a covered transaction for a specified transfer pricing period).
• Compile and maintain inventories of all intercompany and third party license and service agreements. Revise intercompany agreements as necessary.
• Design and implement cost allocation methodologies for the U.S. headquarter services fees to foreign affiliates. Conduct interviews with personnel from various departments within the company to determine and verify the amount of headquarter services fees to be cross-charged to foreign affiliates.
• Conduct research and continuous learning on international tax issues as well as foreign and U.S. tax regulations.
• Provide tax support during foreign tax audits. Work with foreign competent authorities in order to arrive at settlement.
• Support tax provision requirements and the preparation of U.S. Federal income tax return.

Senior Tax Analyst - Transfer Pricing

•	Prepare various transfer pricing reports and financial planning/audit defense documentations.
•	Construct financial models for intercompany royalty payments on intellectual property. Perform economic analysis and benchmarking studies on clients’ intercompany service arrangements and payment structures to determine appropriate intercompany service charges. 
•	Conduct in-person and telephone interviews with clients to obtain information on clients' corporate structure as well as intercompany financial arrangements.
•	Conduct technical training courses on PricewaterhouseCoopers' proprietary search databases for the Transfer Pricing team as well as informational training courses on specific regulations under the Internal Revenue Code.
•	Assist new hires with report writing and benchmarking analysis and review work produced by new associates in order to provide guidance. Participate in college recruiting efforts at UC Berkeley and provide mentoring guidance to new hires.
