I am passionate about working at the intersection of strategy and operations, translating outsized ambition into successful outcomes. As the Chief of Staff at Rainbow Energy, I reported directly to the CEO, leading the development and execution of the company's strategy, operations and communications. I was a member of the senior leadership team, collaborating closely with all functions and stakeholders across the business, and responsible for driving strategic initiatives, business planning, stakeholder alignment, operations optimisation, and internal/external communications. I began my career in management consulting, where I led large-scale digital transformation programs, before transitioning to start-ups and scale-ups eight years ago. During this time, I have held COO and Head of Operations positions at companies ranging from seed to pre-Series B. In 2017, I took the entrepreneurial leap and co-founded Validify, a procurement platform that assists retailers and consumer brands in sourcing and procuring new technologies, and I remain involved as an advisor. The highs and lows of running a start-up taught me the importance of resilience, adaptability, and grit when applied to any business or challenge. My experience spans multiple sectors, including retail, finance, and energy, and I have become increasingly involved in businesses addressing the climate challenge. Moreover, I have successfully navigated businesses through various growth stages, from 0-1, 1-10, to large-scale corporations, giving me a broad understanding of the challenges each stage of business faces.
