I led the end to end recruiting process to find our next ML Engineering hire while collaborating with FloWaste’s CEO and CTO.

I created the job description as well as making all final edits before it was posted live on LinkedIn, the FloWaste website (through Gusto), and AngelList. Throughout the month-long process I sourced candidates and reviewed applications utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter. I also created, recorded, edited, and uploaded all pre-recorded interview questions for our Qualifi.hr platform. 

For all candidates invited to next steps, I scheduled and coordinated all interviews with managers, our CTO and our CEO.

As a Recruiting Assistant for FloWaste, I have also created and implemented an organizational system for all consulting agreements for employees. This allows all agreements to be in one place and easy to navigate when a new hire is brought on to the FloWaste team, no matter what state they are from. 

I continue to use these platforms on a daily basis: Gmail, Notion, HubSpot, Google Calendar, Slack, Google Meet

Intag Consulting, LLC

As a Recruiting Coordinator for Intag Consulting, I coordinate interviews and schedules throughout 4 different USA time zones utilizing Greenhouse, Indeed, and Outlook Suite. As an RC, I coordinate 1 on 1 interviews, as well as panel interviews including but not limited to 5+ interviewers on a panel, all in different time zones. 

I interact with candidates and facilitate phone interviews on a daily basis through Indeed, Greenhouse,and Outlook Mail. In my day to day job functions, I respond to candidate applications by inviting them to their first interview, moving them along through the interview process, as well as sending polite rejections. All candidates receive a response no matter where they are in the process, including if they are not chosen to move forward.

As a virtual classroom teacher for students located in China, I instructed and provided one-on-one full English immersion classes utilizing US Common Core Standards. I have been commended for establishing a positive rapport with students, and for delivering highly engaging lessons. This led to increased motivation levels for children aged 5-13 to read, write, and speak the English language. 

I encouraged natural conversations during each class, and corrected mistakes in a gentle manner to create an emboldening environment for students to feel comfortable speaking in English.

I created, developed, and implemented my own lesson plans adhering to each grade’s level of comprehension for 300+ students. Each week, I introduced students to a variety of cultural topics encouraging diversity through debate and question formation activities. I was able to develop relationships with my students, creating a safe environment to be themselves, ask questions and be fully committed to learning the English language. 

During my 3 years in NALCAP, I advocated out-of-the-box thinking, ensuring a creative and engaging English learning experience for all students. This included a pen-pal program with 20 students from my alma mater high school in Minnesota, as well as each year during Christmas my students were able to have a live call with Santa Claus (my dad!) to ask him anything they wanted. 

Outside of the classroom, I made sure I was persistently helpful for all staff, ensuring needs were met inside and outside of the English department. This played a huge role in curating e-learning content during our 60 day quarantine in the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Throughout my time in NALCAP, I was able to build a large network of teaching private English lessons to both children and adults, which I am still doing to this day.

I assisted with applications and interviews to fill my 25 person team, attending job interviews, and pre-employment processes. During this time my manager and I ensured an engaging, timely, and thoughtful hiring process for all candidates. I assigned and monitored all employee tasks and responsibilities for our prep days before the fair, the duration of the fair, and our closing days once the fair had finished. 

Outside of my 25 member team, I was responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with my 35 different food vendors stationed in my building. Each day I managed vendors' food & beverage deliverings to ensure on time arrival, and prompt unloading time before the front gates opened each day. 

In 2019, the Great Minnesota Get Together had an attendance rate of 1.3 billion, and is considered the second largest state fair in the United States.

During my time as a lead server I wore multiple hats during each shift while delivering the highest quality service to customers. This revolutionized my ability to handle a quickly changing environment in stride while managing multiple tasks and duties at once. I provided exceptional customer service through my natural ability to build new relationships and utilizing my expertise within customer service operations and management. 

As a server I was able to refine my project management skills by coordinating each table's food and beverage order ensuring prompt delivery times, including during high stress and traffic shifts. I also assisted in the organization and planning for all high-volume holiday brunches ensuring the optimal experience for our guests from the moment they walked in the door. 

I enhanced my leadership skills by training in new servers & hosts, and familiarizing new employees with company culture, policies, and safety procedures. This allowed me to constantly learn and adapt to implementing positive changes for employees, and customers.

I developed, managed, and coordinated class schedules for all Business Administration classes and extracurricular activities. Each day was filled with multitasking of all office duties including but not limited to answering phones, drafting & sending emails, and maintaining all schedules within the department. 

As a student aid to all Business Administration professors, I drafted class syllabi, documents, exams and all student documentation using Microsoft Office Suit with a heavy focus on Excel and Powerpoint. I also assisted in both administering and grading exams when needed.
