Mighty Deals

My role consists of a variety of responsibilities, showing diligence from start to finish. A lead member of a four-person marketing team, I am key in the progression of the Mighty Deals marketing pipeline. From validating the deal through to creating the webpage and the creative for it.
 
I have shown myself to be highly detail-orientated and have excelled in the team, effectively assisting with the maintenance of the deal pages via the two core database systems. Daily, I use CRM software Salesforce and the Mighty Deals portal, whilst using Word, Excel and Photoshop.

I have developed a background in delivering marketing and communication solutions to a range of stakeholders. Constantly monitoring and identifying existing consumer buying trends ensuring this user-base is retained. Daily gathering information through competitive market research, thus broadening our customer base. 

Recently, corresponding with Visa Checkout account manager regarding dedicated campaigns. Sign-off authority for the final marketing approach and design. Responsible for sign off of the final design, I provide high quality support to sales and deal merchants.

Demonstrating initiative and strategic thinking by designing and creating a Mighty Deals specification booklet, to inform future partners and merchants of relevant statistics. 

Up-skilling in Marketo software as an email platform and familiar with Google Analytics.

I solely am responsible for the email subject lines, with the primary goal to increase email open rates. I also establish that each campaign is complete for consumer viewing, identify and resolve any errors.

Now responsible for managing the Mighty Deals Twitter page. I have used Tweetdeck and Twitter Analytics and they have enabled me to set objectives and monitor progression.

I provided office administration within an immediate team of seven. Maintaining a professional and approachable manner through telephone and email contact. Answering a range of examiner queries via email, using Outlook as a main point of call. Efficiently using five databases to collate necessary information, in order to answer client questions. Keeping calm whilst working under pressure, particularly at the busiest time of the year for AQA. I have shown efficiency, prioritising my workload.

I wanted to work in The Cutty Sark because it is one of the most beautiful pubs in Greenwich. For most students, it's almost essential to find part time work to fund your life alongside writing assignments. In almost all of my past jobs, I have been faced with the public, whereby quality customer service is imperative to the growth of business. I have been able to work as part of a strong team, and also use my initiative to work alone.

Boots allowed me to expand my skills, initially serving customers on the tills, I then was able to learn at an intimediate level how to run the photography laboratory which I found myself becoming more involved in a specific team. Determined to develop a craft in user research, where I have the opportunity to shape impactful solutions based off of insightful research studies. My recent experience has been based on ensuring webpages are accessible, and always keep the customer journey in mind. It's set me on my path into UX research, where I am learning how to create my own research plans, set strategic goals, and analyze and synthesize my test results. I pride myself on being someone who fosters strong working relationships, and works well with other people, whilst I also value my own autonomy.
