We believe that open source is a fundamental good in the IT world as it creates collaboration across the globe, opens doors for people who want to change their future, and encourages successes to be built on other successes for a collective good.

In addition to the inherent problems of high costs from public clouds, we believe that the massive consolidation of infrastructure and software into a tiny set of public cloud providers is dangerous on numerous levels. A balancing force of clouds, operated by smaller companies, smaller governments, and even individuals, is critical to the long term health of IT.

I've held a unique variety of positions throughout the years. From starting my own music promotions company in high school to learning how to install decorative concrete, I've managed to do a little of everything. Over the past 15+ years I found my path in marketing and I take great pride in doing it the right way.

🖖My greatest loves: family (friends included), dogs, cheese, chocolate, yoga, tattoos, travel, video games, spooky things, theme parks, plants, and Oxford commas.

As for my everyday life, my husband and I + our two dogs are (former) nomads who roamed North America in our RV named Matt Foley. We've recently found a home in Massachusetts and it's been a joy exploring this completely new-to-us part of the country.
