I take an empathy led approach to account and partner management, and everything else I do. I focus on building trust with partners and clients while harnessing the power found in collaboration to connect the right people with the right solutions to achieve their goals, solve their pain points and let them scale. I especially love creatively co-marketing to drive awareness and leads as well as building strategy and process cross functionally. I have worked in e-commerce, digital advertising, event coordination, music marketing, and event management. When not hustling in the ecom world, you can find me on various art boards, organizing local and out of town events, mentoring up and coming super stars, or in the woods foraging wild mushrooms. A bit more on my community work in the arts: An active member of the Winnipeg music community, Lauren is a founding member of DJ collective The Vinyl Salon. She regularly speaks on panels addressing artists and industry on a variety of topics regarding event organization, project management, marketing and PR. Lauren has also consulted on several other local and national arts projects throughout the past few years. Lauren's passion and focus in music has evolved beyond event management and booking, to coordinating with community groups regarding representation and inclusion within these events. She has coordinated several free panel events with Manitoba Music on topics like Safer Spaces, Mental Health in Music and Representation and Inclusion in the Music industry. She has consulted on several Safer Spaces policies for a variety of organizations across the country. Lauren developed a mentorship program with Studio 393 and The Graffiti Gallery, using Big Fun as a learning tool for Youth looking to learn about the back end of festival and event management. Lauren was the recipient of the Kevin Walter's Memorial Award in 2017 recognizing her work in music in Manitoba.
