Enthusiasm, ambition, and a love of uncertainty has led me to explore varied roles and industries, primarily in Vancouver, Toronto, and Los Angeles. I’m a strong believer in a professional environment that thrives on creativity, mentorship & collaboration. As a true entrepreneur, I’ve changed directions and evolved my career to stay in alignment with my principles, utilize my talents, and enjoy reinvention. As a visual learner, I’ve always been enthralled with the power of storytelling and the importance of role models. While working as a stylist on George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight, I had the opportunity to interact with celebrities, politicians, musicians, and authors as they shared their experiences. With me, inspiration always leads to action: I’ve founded a coaching & image consulting company, co-authored a personal development book (Catch Your Star, 2013), pitched as a finalist at Microsoft’s Peel Startup Weekend, and worked with a venture capitalist managing an incubator space. I pay my own experiences forward by mentoring and supporting the next generation. I’ve facilitated female empowerment programs with REALgirl and mentored high school students with Create Change. I was honoured to serve on Minerva BC’s Board of Directors from 2018-2019. These experiences further sparked my interest in examining the traditional educational and social structures that inform the lives of young people, especially women. I’m proud of my ability to turn imaginative, innovative ideas into reality by believing in possibility and connecting the dots. Leveraging my creativity, my interpersonal skills, and my eye for colour and design has allowed me to continually persevere and succeed. Drawn to work that lights me up - especially in the creative arts, journalism, and film - I’m in my element when I can collaborate with other creatives while also making key business decisions. My company The Prevail Project highlights international women with unconventional careers and lifestyles through stunning multimedia presentation. We use the power of storytelling, producing quality content to inspire people, especially women, and encourage self-acceptance, confidence, and a deeper sense of self. We also provide resources and events (CATALYST, 2018) for those looking to forge new paths to success. My focus is on trusting my intuition and living by example, with the goal to achieve a grand vision that has real impact. I want to go beyond what’s considered safe and create a new reality - one that empowers vitality, connection, freedom and joy.
