My time spent traveling in the US and abroad has strengthened my personal and professional mission to help improve health outcomes and access to quality perinatal care. I have executive level leadership experience in program and project management with a specialized focus in public health and the ability to effectively promote operational efficiency and cultivate strategic relationships within managed care organizations. I am motivated by seeing the results of my accomplishments driving my organization to its goals and mission. My bread and butter is evaluating systems that are frustrating, inefficient time-suckers and strategically updating those systems to work for the team. Better yet, let me prevent an issue before it becomes a functional problem. I also deeply value and actively support psychological safety because I understand that what happens to us in life will affect our work. Creating psychologically safe environments enables everyone to be happier, more productive, and more effective. I’ve learned that every person from every walk of life has a unique perspective to add value and to be valuable. Here are just a few examples of how I have improved operational effectiveness within health programs and health organizations: ✅ I created a multi-step, closed-loop communication pathway for every program that came through our department. The number of errors the team experienced decreased significantly, employees had more time to work on future projects ahead of schedule, and best of all - customers were happy and excited to see the change. ✅ I reduced our department’s spending by $100,000/year after evaluating our biggest expenses and changing the way our programs ran. ✅ I noticed my team’s salaries were well below that of their colleagues. I advocated for the team’s salaries to increase, strategically after cleaning up our spending and budget. My entire team received raises with up to 26% increase in pay.
