Laurie is an Architect turned Executive Coach. She has managed $100M in construction, passed all seven licensing exams in five months, has filled up a passport, ran Division 1 Cross Country, broken her own foot to hit a goal, and burned out twice. She’s tried every possible way to level up and has found the fastest route to both high performance AND balance. Work doesn’t feel like work to her anymore, she has more impact than ever before, and she has more energy at the end of the day than she started with. 

She is here to help world changers who are in a position to move the needle on climate do it faster, with bigger impact, greater ease, and more balance.

Teaching Architectural Technology students refines my coaching, mentoring, and teaching abilities by leveraging my knowledge of the architectural profession, harnessing my personal strengths, and challenging me to communicate more effectively. 

Teaching building structures to architecture students is a challenge in translation and communication and I am honing my ability to convey complex, foreign concepts in a clear, concise manner.

Completed research with Blaine Brownell on his book, Matter in the Floating World, a book with interviews of 20 Japanese Architects. Marc Swackhammer and I redesigned the School of Architecture's website and I built a content management system to allow faculty and students to upload new work. 

I taught first year Master of Architecture graduate students with Sharon Roe. I am currently teaching undergraduate Design Fundamentals 1 with Marc Swackhammer.

Received Open Society Institute grant for distribution in documentary photography and worked with El Museo de la Palabra y la Imagen in San Salvador, El Salvador to start their digital archive and present historic photographs of the Salvadoran Civil War in the form of photography forums held in rural El Salvador.
