Human Resources Consultant

Recruited to a newly created role to establish an HR M&A function, design processes and develop tools and templates to support roll up strategy of private equity (Tower Brook) backed professional services firm. Completed four combinations after joining in 2022, two in 2023 and two YTD in 2024.

Formed a small team to deliver people and organization (HR) related solutions. Coordinated activities across multiple HR workstreams and other functional workstreams. Introduced tools and templates to drive consistency in approach and reporting.

Began post-Close engagement pulse surveys and received consistently positive feedback (>90% positive results) regarding onboarding and integration process. Turnover of acquired firm employees is consistently lower than for remainder of the firm.

Utilized Workday and Ceridian Dayforce; responsible for HR Operations for four subsidiaries.

Contract role leading the HR integration efforts for a generic pharmaceutical manufacturer acquiring a manufacturing facility in Puerto Rico. Implemented Paylocity.

•	Assumed a newly created role responsible for Human Resources Mergers & Acquisitions and Global Expansion in an organization undergoing hypergrowth. Responsible for integrating cross functional workstreams within the People Team with broader project teams.  Develop tools, templates and processes to support diligence and integration.
•	Focus on people and organizational issues in due diligence, integration and new country launch planning.

Korn Ferry Hay Group

• Support clients through large scale corporate transformations including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and public listings as well as other corporate transformations, redesigns and reorganizations. 
• Design and deliver client solutions including project scoping, requirements definition, pricing, team design and project execution and delivery for multiple (12+) transactions generating +$2mm in fees and in excess of $7bn transaction value. Sample roles include:
     -	Led due diligence initiatives for people and organization issues across workstreams partnering with other advisors including legal, tax, finance and investment bankers
     -	Integration planning and execution including Day One experience and communication plans, benefit consolidation, HR service delivery model review
     -	Operating model and organization design planning for combination of businesses with operations in multiple locations
     -	Coordinated site consolidation and closure and headcount reductions following integration
     - Support functional transformation following global business combination and resulting implementation of new ERP and related systems

Client Partner

Citi

• Recruited by HR to return to an HR role and assume global responsibility for twelve Consumer businesses (~10k employees) and four institutional businesses (~2k employees) transferred from Citicorp (Citigroup’s core businesses) to Citi Holdings (Citigroup’s portfolio of non-core assets).  
• Citi Holdings was formed in January 2009 with a mandate to manage risk and losses while attempting to maximize value from those assets.  
• Coordinate HR delivery with country and regional HR teams supporting each business.  
• Align HR initiatives with ongoing business activities as well as supporting strategic reviews and eventual disposition strategies.  
• Provide HR support as appropriate to M&A activity.

Human Resources Lead for Citi Holdings 

- Represent Citigroup on Board of Directors of CPI India Real Estate Ventures Ltd., a Mauritius company invested in real estate development projects in India. 
- Served as primary point of contact with Joint Venture partner.
- Responsibilities included attending Board Meetings, representing company in litigation, ensuring appropriate Citigroup governance standards were met.

• Accepted a line role in Citi Holdings overseeing a portfolio of approximately $1.3 billion of assets with responsibility for liquidating the entire portfolio through exits or run off.
• Reduced assets by approximately $600mm (46%) prior to being recruited back to HR.
• Portfolio assets included Limited Partner positions in Alternative Investments including Private Equity and Property investment funds, liquid funds, direct investments in private companies as well as publicly traded securities.
• Responsibilities included representing Citi on Fund Advisory Boards, serving as a Board Member on behalf of Citi, determining exit strategies and leading sale transactions as appropriate.

Portfolio Manager / Director

• Responsible for delivering HR support to businesses within CitiHoldings.  Groups supported include Private Equity, Property Investment, Commercial Real Estate, Hedge Fund Management Group and Special Asset Pool.
• Functional lead for M&A transactions including Primerica's IPO (PRI), Auto Lending business sale to Santander and Student Loan Corporation (STU) sale to Discover.
• Citi Military Veterans Network - HR Liaison (August 2011 - March 2014)
  - The Military Veterans Network is one of ten Affinity Networks / Employee Resource Groups that are part of Citi's broader Diversity and Inclusion initiatives 
  - Support all the initiatives of Citi's Military Veterans Network including volunteer opportunities, personal and professional development opportunities and recruiting and retaining talent.

HR Lead (HR Business Partner) for Citi Holdings

• Responsible for delivery of all levels of HR support to global clients including Equity Sales & Trading, Origination and Prime Finance businesses.  
• Manage a global team of generalists and specialists supporting a business of approximately 3,000 employees across six continents.  
• Partner with senior management to ensure business strategy is supported by HR.
• Led cross functional HR team through all phases of M&A transactions from due diligence through integration.
• Actively participated in Diversity Committee and Diversity Recruiting Committee

Head of Global Equities Human Resources, Institutional Client Group

• Managed two shared services teams responsible for supporting Citi's Corporate and Investment Banking operations across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.  One team delivered compensation strategy and administration support in partnership with business generalists while the second team was responsible for input, administration and reporting of all employee data and transactions (hiring, transfers, adjustments, etc.) across the region.

• Joined rotational training program and subsequently joined compensation department.
