Responsible for project profitability, cost control, reviewing client contracts, creating subcontracts, creating and monitoring written communications with the clients, architects, city personnel and subcontractors, and coordinating, delegating, and management of the projects engineers.
Be thoroughly familiar with the requirements of the general contract, thereby identifying changes, conflicts, etc. that are beyond the scope of work.

Listed below are a few projects that I personally assisted in, which included the sale, supervision, and project management of. As project manager of these fields, my role was to ensure all aspects of the project were installed to industry standard and well within the manufacturers' recommendations (i.e. synthetic turf base drainage layer systems, layout, cold or hot glued/ sewn and infill applications).

In my last year with Park West (01/01/2016-01/02/2017) my duties were narrowed primarily to business development where I carried over the same responsibilities from project management but on a slightly grander scale. During this time, I was able to create and re-establish relationships with clientele of the company to discuss further business opportunities and in doing so, was also able to gain more knowledge and exposure in the industry.

Falling back on my trade, I was able to take advantage of the landscape/maintenance opportunities by partnering with local realtors and residents in providing high scale techniques and applying them to low end venues such as private homes in communities, in and around the Hilo and lower Puna areas, e.g. Hawaiian Shores, Leilani Estates and Hawaiian Beaches.

Upon relocating my family to the Big Island of Hawaii, I learned of the essential use of propane in the off grid communities and how the sole proprietor of propane on the east side of the island was able to create a monopoly and dictate the price of propane per gallon making it nearly impossible for a poverty stricken community to afford.
With this knowledge, I was able to locate a competitive pipeline that allowed us to build a company which was able to generate jobs, create competition with affordable pricing, and lastly, generate a 100 percent profit within the first 45 days of business.

So Ono Food Products, LLC

As a product handler for So Ono Food Products, I was responsible for following food safety regulations after obtaining food handler's clearance to ensure safe care and delivery. I was also responsible for properly storing the products according to guidelines at each of the retailer locations. Locations included Marine, Air Force base and the Navy Exchange (security clearance also granted during that time) as well as other local grocery retailers island wide.
I was personally responsible to remain in contact with each individual retailer to discuss trending sales, product placement solutions, maintenance of inventory to ensure products are well within their "Best by" dates. 
There was an output quota which varied between locations that required weekly attention to compare inventory and sales which I managed to meet on a regular basis.
As one of the many faces of the company, my constant communication with clientele allowed me to gain each of their trust to secure business longevity.

My seasonal term at United Parcel Service allowed me to acquire and strengthen new skills outside the landscape and turf industry such as providing exceptional customer service, working in a fast-paced environment, handling, transporting and delivering various shipments among local businesses and residences on the windward side of the island as well as those at the Armed Force base. 
Aside from delivery, I also worked in receiving at the distribution warehouse where duties included unloading cargo airplanes and proper handling and transferring of each package shipment to their designated delivery vehicle.

My term at Sports Turf Hawaii provided me with a broad spectrum of experience in planning, estimating, scheduling, supervising and providing construction administration tasks for a wide range of construction projects.  Duties included preparing time sheets, field supervision, ordering materials, and scheduling material deliveries.

My experience has provided me with the specialized knowledge and expertise in installing and maintaining synthetic turf for commercial projects and athletic fields.  In regards to my experience and expertise in installing synthetic turf, I personally supervised and installed a variety of projects (details in complete resume)

My experience also included designing, installing and repairing landscape irrigation systems for government construction projects. (more detail in complete resume)

Many of my earlier projects can be referenced in the Island Homes local magazine, issues from year 2003 to 2006.
My work duties also provided me with experience in working with vertical and horizontal masonry, operating heavy equipment, as well as installing and maintaining landscaping projects for luxury residential homes.
