The Orca String Quartet is an ensemble of high-calibre professional musicians serving the lower mainland area of Vancouver, Canada. • Led team of 50 staff through negotiations with key departments and senior managers to increase student satisfaction and referral rate to >80%. 
• Engaged and coached industry leaders from companies including Microsoft, Mozilla, and Electronic Arts to increase mentor pool by 50%, resulting in award-winning student projects and >90% graduate employment hiring rate. 

The Digital Design program at VFS is an award-winning, one-year transformative educational program that helps prepare you for your career as a designer. As the Head of the Digital Design program, I promote and champion the best possible student experience and culture in the program, plan and implement strategic policies to ensure the program's ongoing financial success, manage my wonderful team of teachers and staff, and maintain and enhance marketing and industry partnerships. I also teach regularly, ensuring I connect with the students in the classroom, coaching and mentoring them to enable them to fulfil their potential and embark on their career as a designer.

During my time as Head of the Digital Design program, the program won Best School for UX/UI Design in the world and 2nd Best School for Motion Graphics Design in the world by The Rookies. Our students won numerous awards for their work in the program, including the Adobe Achievement Awards, the Applied Arts Awards, the Salazar Awards, and The Rookies.

• Awarded multiple “Best Instructor” and “Best Course” awards through incorporating anecdotes from my industry experience with proven methodologies into curriculum, and mentoring students to enable them to successfully manage their projects. 

The Project Management courses at Vancouver Film School provide students with the framework required to successfully manage projects and become knowledgeable members of project teams. The courses cover both the traditional "Waterfall" project management methodology, in accordance with the PMI PMBOK Guide, as well as the Agile and Scrum project management methodology. The combination of the curriculum and the structure of the weekly classes support and allow the students to successfully manage their student projects, as well as preparing them for the necessary project management experience to bring to the industry upon their graduation.

I was regularly awarded "Best Instructor", "Best Course", and "Outstanding Achievement" awards from multiple VFS programs during my time as Instructor & Mentor at VFS, voted by students and by staff.

• Led and delivered $1.5M budget website for Microsoft’s “Because It’s Everybody’s Business” campaign, resulting in increased traffic to key Microsoft product sites and successful collaboration with multiple third-party and international teams and vendors. 
• Managed the $100K design of Microsoft’s Tech-Ed online offering with additional program management of third parties, team of 15 resources, and delivering on time and to budget. 
• Led and delivered $1M upgrade of the Nintendo loyalty program website with remote and non-remote teams, resulting in increased game sales and brand loyalty. 
• Developed and mentored team of nine project managers for largest account (account annual revenue ~$8M) to achieve increased project success and revenue for the company.

• Led strategic planning and stakeholder engagement for activities, projects and local council authority negotiations, mitigating in excess of $200M in annual fines. 
• Led change management and roll-out of training of new operational policies and processes, leading to increased government legislation compliance and minimizing financial exposure and incursions. 
• Brokered relationships with local council authorities and successfully negotiated reduced fees, fines and charges, saving $6M. 
• Managed, motivated, and led department of 60 staff with annual operational budget of $4M.
