I have joined the Solidarity Movement as Head of the HR department and with my portfolio I have been involved in all HR related matters in all of the Institutions and Affiliates within the movement.  The biggest part of this role included stakeholder management.  My responsibilities include a strategic alignment of HR practices with the Vision of the Organization, maintenance of discipline, development and implementation of policies and procedures. I provides support to all the departments within the Organization and the development of an HR Toolkit for departmental managers and to align the practices through the Movement.  This was implemented through behavioural change management facilitation and communication. Other functions include management of staff, payroll and administration.

We conducted several benchmarking projects with special focus on Remuneration.  We furthermore developed an onboarding program for new employees.

I have been involved in all aspects of Business and currently owns 3 x Small businesses. I enjoy the intricacies and challenges that Business presents and like to present possible solutions, honing a host of business skills such as strategic planning, execution of strategy, marketing, business development, financial management (Budgeting) and setting up and packaging product offerings. 

My current focus is mobilizing my knowledge, skills, experience and network to provide services that will have sustainable impact.
