Leanne has more than a decade of experience in the residential property sector where she identifies, manages and negotiates M&A activity to its completion. Having built a reputation early in her career for being able to find and negotiate deals, Leanne brings her strong organisational skills developed in the logistics industry to ensure that any and all opportunities are properly explored.

Over the past 13 years Leanne has grown her residential property company, Carling Property Group into the largest privately-owned residential landlords in Scotland. During this time Leanne has led the growth of the business by sourcing portfolio deals and the finance required to complete.

Leanne has been involved in over 1,000 residential property portfolio acquisition transactions, either buying or facilitating with a value of circa £200million and the rapid growth of Carling Property Group is testament to Leanne’s talent for buying at the right price to maximise eventual sale value.

After years of building, testing, and operating quietly in the background, whilst distilling decades of top level deal experience and business knowledge, today we formally announced AURA and the world’s first hybrid AI–human Board of Direction.

Together, they redefine how organisations govern, make decisions, and maintain clarity as complexity scales.

AURA (Accelerated Understanding, Results & Advantage) is the Carling Intelligence System, a proprietary ecosystem of knowledge, judgement, and decision intelligence built from decades of experience and refined through years of live beta use. Discipline isn’t restrictive; it’s clarifying.

Five years ago today, we lost Graeme’s mum and dad within an hour of each other. A loss that still feels impossible to fully explain.

Today, my thoughts are with all of our family who miss them in different ways; their children who lost their mum and dad, their grandchildren missing their granny and grandad, their siblings who lost a sister and brother, their nieces and nephews missing an auntie and uncle, and the friends whose lives were better for knowing them.

Grief doesn’t disappear with time, it simply changes shape. But so does love, and so does gratitude.

They are remembered, deeply loved, and never forgotten.

I don’t want my children to think ambition is something to tiptoe around.
They see what commitment looks like.
Structure makes ambition calm. Chaos makes it heavy.
Responsibility is normal in our house.

Last week, after all these years of visiting (and living in Spain), Graeme and I finally made it to Sierra Nevada...and it was absolutely worth it. An incredible few days skiing (getting some practice in before more trips later in the year), adventuring and exploring a new part of Spain.

My children don’t learn leadership from my advice.

They learn it from how I handle pressure, what I tolerate, how I reset and how I move through difficult seasons without acting like a victim.

They absorb it long before they understand it.

Glad to be back at Pilates this week after the Christmas break. It’s one of the few things that keeps me grounded.  Consistency always matters more than intensity.

There comes a point where proving yourself feels unnecessary. You know your standards, and you don't need anyone else to confirm them.

What excites me most about our newly unveiled intelligence system, AURA isn’t the technology, it’s the discipline it enforces.
