Owning all marketing channels across brand / ATL and digital, including  CRM with an emphasis on performance marketing, whilst considering brand and customer insights. Initial brief was to drive growth - increasing traffic, new customers and repeat rate. Responsible for managing a multi-million pound budget, implementing team structure, process, strategy and analysis of activity. Revised the strategy to focus on a drive to positive EBITDA which was achieved with a budget and headcount cut of c50%, channel efficiencies and diversification.

Moonpig

Leading the strategic direction of all paid media channels for Moonpig (c£12m pa budget) – digital and ATL/brand – as part of the senior management team.  Responsible for the development and measurement of TTL integrated campaigns, ensuring that the maximum number of customers are recruited at the desired cost, whilst growing total orders, increasing overall awareness and enhancing brand perception. Stakeholder management, working closely with commercial, creative and customer facing teams to ensure collaboration whilst aligning and supporting the business and brand strategy. Management and development of the marketing acquisition team and agencies, maximising engagement and performance.

Acquisition Marketing Director

Responsible for the digital marketing function ensuring clear KPIs for each campaign are agreed. Lead the external media buying agency to deliver the core strategy for national TV and other ATL campaigns. Working across functions (creative and commercial teams) to produce adverts which align with media plans and ingest customer insights, whilst optimising budget throughout acquisition activity.

Head of Customer Acquisition

Working across multi-channel marketing activity (brand management, TV, radio, tube car panels, search, PR and CRM) from media buying through to creative execution. Accountable for day-to-day management of media buying and creative production agencies and developing a customer journey flow to increase purchase frequency and loyalty. Synthesising and analysing data, reporting metrics to maximise ROI.

Organise production of promotional imagery; both still photography and film. Explore sponsorship and event opportunities within the health and fitness industry and build those relationships to exploit mutually beneficial arrangements.

Responsible for the marketing plans to promote each event for all visitor and exhibitor facing communications including data purchase, direct mail, digital activity, POS, website content and OOH.  Organise and host entrepreneurial key note seminars, securing speakers via motivational speaker agencies.
