My initial role was to log motor fleet quotations and offer support to colleagues by compiling new business documentation and obtaining additional risk information from our brokers. I quickly learned the principles of underwriting and obtained my own underwriting authority of £10,000 (later increased to £25,000) before my progression was rewarded with a promotion to Assistant Underwriter.
