Managed a small team of industry experts responsible for working with various GE divisions including GE Power, GE Renewables, GE Transportation, and GE/Baker Hughes to grow GE’s digital business. Major accomplishment: Shifted the focus of business development and marketing efforts from a generic digital transformation message to business outcome-based messages centered around the use of APM and OPM (Operations Performance Management).

Major accomplishment: Developed and published the most widely read and disseminated research on Asset Performance Management (APM). Secondarily: Researched and wrote the first EH&S Magic Quadrant as well as the annual EAM Magic Quadrant..

Provided GTM consulting services to technology firms. Major accomplishment: Helped a small provider of electronic asset tracking tags raise several million dollars in strategic capital from a major oilfield services company.

Zebra Technologies

Part of an energy and manufacturing business development team responsible for growing revenue outside of core retail market. Major accomplishment: Grew energy and manufacturing business to $250M over five years. Secondarily: Led the co-development of a new IS mobile computer with a German partner.

Provided consulting services to both buyers and sellers of digital technology. Major accomplishment: Created a new e-business strategy for a major specialty chemicals company (Engelhard – now BASF Catalysts). Secondarily: Helped two OT-centric software companies (one later acquired by GE) revamp their GTM strategy and messaging leading to double digit growth.
