•	Working with a team of Actuaries and Pension Administrators, oversaw all aspects of Eckler’s largest Multi-Employer Pension Plan client.
•	As a Multi-Employer Target Benefit pension plan, acted as main point of contact and escalation for the Plan’s custodian, auditor, Investment Managers, the Plan’s Board of Trustees, as well as Plan members, employers and union contacts for over 80 participating employers.
•	Tracked Plan budget and expenses, reconciled contribution cheques with Plan cash & custody accounts, updated Plan website and internal recordkeeping database.
•	Managed internal departments to process contribution rate increases, benefit level adjustments, benefit quote requests, communicating legislative changes and their impacts to union members and participating employers.
•	Coordinated regular workflow meetings, tracking documents and follow-up to ensure all deliverables and regulatory deadlines were met.
•	Traveled across Canada conducting onsite member information sessions to aid union members and employers gain a better understanding of their pension benefits.
•	Met with prospective employers or union representatives considering joining the Plan.

•	Worked with a variety of strategic RBC Dexia clients to understand their change requirements.
•	Managed client Change Logs and associated tracking, reviewing and follow-up.

•	Actively managed the relationship between RBC Dexia and its largest Canadian mutual fund client.
•	Coordinated with operational departments (recordkeeping, fund accounting, custody, securities lending, trust accounting, etc.) to ensure day-to-day processes are followed.
•	Acted as point of escalation on client issues for all departments and respective client contacts.
•	Provided timely follow-up to client on all operational issues and projects.
•	Created tracking logs for all client issues and initiatives, working in partnership with the client to resolve issues quickly and ensure project initiatives are on track for successful completion.
•	Worked with the Director, Relationship Management to foster the growth of the client’s business through cross-sell/up-sell opportunities.

Client Service Manager

• Responsible for all facets of Client Services including (but not limited to) staffing, training, phone coverage, phone system, call statistics, team infrastructure and service levels to ensure delivery of Superior Customer Service at all times.
• Set staff objectives and completed performance reviews; responsible for staff management, team building and training – implemented incentive-based contests to help Client Service agents recognize and act on potential Sales leads.
• Acted as point of escalation for critical service issues.
• Worked together with other managers on policy and procedure development and implementation, departmental streamlining, reengineering, and work flows.

• Provided inside sales support for Toronto-based wholesalers.
• Booked appointments through proactive calls to both clients and prospects, answering sales and marketing questions, following up after sales presentations, and maintaining wholesalers’ schedules.
• Responsible for territory planning with Vice President of Sales.
• Worked with Sales team members to identify, assess and implement sales strategies.
• This included, but was not limited to, identifying prospects, following up on referrals, and “up-selling” existing clients.

Inside Sales Representative

• Worked in an ACD call-centre environment handling bilingual calls for Canada’s premier niche mutual fund company, developing and maintaining client relationships.
• As a senior representative, was responsible for handling more than 40% of incoming calls from brokers and advisors across Canada.
• Resolved different customer service issues while providing guidance to junior team members, and acted as point of escalation for critical issues.
• Worked directly with the Sales department to help establish strategies for the Quebec market.
• Helped launch Northwest’s in-house Client Services department (1999), which had previously been outsourced (since 1997).
• Spearheaded Northwest’s quarterly newsletter for staff and affiliated companies.
• Adapted quickly to system conversions from Corfax to CGI (2001) and then from CGI to Jewelstone/Unitrax (2003).
