As one of Vancouver’s fastest growing game studios Skybox has developed titles alongside some of the world’s top publishers. Skybox worked on Halo Infinite, projects in the Minecraft Universe, Magic the Gathering Arena and original cinematic platformer, Stela.

As Talent Acquisition specialist I was responsible for connecting and attracting top talent for our growing company. I work to grow relationships with the community, as well as manage the recruitment process from beginning to end.

- Ownership of a new game project to help hire 20+ new engineers in a tight deadline
- Negotiated salaries in a competitive industry 
- Met with the company founders on a weekly basis to update on hiring efforts and project updates
- Pulled key data and metrics from our ATS (Lever) to present back to founders on a quarterly basis. 
- Owned the 360 recruitment process end to end
- Quickly adapted to virtual interviewing
- Helped in identifying bottlenecks and training interviewers to increase time to hire
- Worked in a small team of 3 and helped onboard 4 new team members throughout my time at SkyBox.

Junior Talent Partner

In my role as Talent Executive I've taken on additional responsibilities such as:

 •	Owning up to 15 roles and owning the 360 recruitment cycle
•	Support on wider recruitment projects such as employee brand work and on wider HR team projects.
•	Taking a support role within Tech recruitment, assisting with phone interviews and events.

We still work in relatively small teams, so there's no room for coasting along. We're friendly, happy, and most importantly, we work really hard. We're not afraid to get our hands dirty and we're all incredibly passionate about our brand.

Secret Escapes is the UK’s biggest members-only website offering flash sales on luxury travel within the UK and around the world. We want to inspire the world to escape, and we do so with strong imagery, stylish writing, sought-after destinations and unbeatable prices

Talent Executive

•	Support on wider recruitment projects such as employee brand work and on wider HR team projects.

•	Assisting the recruitment team to administer the recruitment process, such as post roles, schedule meeting rooms and book interviews globally.

•	Assist with phone interviews and screening candidates where needed.

•	Sourcing candidates through indeed, Guardian and LinkedIn recruiter.

•	Manage recruitment inbox to ensure all emails and responded to including supporting candidates through their application process.

•	Monitoring and keeping all our career pages up to date, generating new content and keeping our regular slots such as the ‘New joiner Blog’ fresh.

•	Helping to maintain spreadsheets, trackers and pull data together.

•	Attend careers fairs with our Space Hoppers and events to attract new talent and increase brand awareness.

•	Manage the LinkedIn account from generating LinkedIn content to promote Secret Escapes culture, careers and events, replying to comments and managing engagement. 

Key Achievements:

•	Implemented and managed Whatsapp to contact the recruitment team.

•	Created a ‘ticket to interview’ for candidates to receive as an interview confirmation. I implemented this for our offices around the globe that worked alongside our ATS system. I saw this project through from idea to implementation. 

•	Improved LinkedIn engagement through regular posts and updates

Talent Coordinator

Provident Financial Group - Provident, Satsuma & glo

•	Managing a high workload at peak times throughout the month and prioritising tasks accordingly.

•	Creating induction plans and scheduling meet and greets for key stakeholders around the business.

•	Supporting three main teams within the HR function in organising and preparing for key training around the business. 

•	Working closely with the Head of Recruitment, Learning and Development and Head of HR in managing their diaries and any issues/queries they need assistance with.


•	Dealing with and supporting Development Managers’ each month with the on boarding programme through providing travel, accommodation and support throughout their 5 week training programme.

•	Booking travel and accommodation for colleagues who need to attend conferences, events, job fayres or training throughout the year. 

•	Providing administrative support throughout different project roll outs - sending invites, liaising with stakeholders, booking meeting rooms and ordering training materials.

•	Attending monthly senior management meetings to take minutes, create agendas and prepare delegates with additional information needed for these meetings.

•	Administrative tasks such as invoicing, generating purchase order numbers and liaising with finance to ensure invoices are paid.

•	Solving any problems that occur with hotel, train or flight bookings. 

•	Ad hoc duties when required.

HR Coordinator

Town Centre Securities PLC

Job Overview:

Working in the main reception area dealing with visitors, tenants and contractors. 

HR admin duties such as wage/overtime sheets, Check signing in/out sheets daily, entering overtime/holidays, sickness and transferring to weekly sheets. 

Submitting time sheets to Payroll Department

Liaise with Centres Mall promotion agents and update Merrion Centre computer diary for all promotional events.

Copy and file all service charge invoices. Liaise with Purchase ledger staff with any queries.

General Filing of Tenant correspondence, contractor’s job sheets etc.

Take meeting room bookings for both tenants and TCS staff. Provide tea, coffee etc. when requested by TCS staff during meetings.

Control of holidays – checking availability before authorizing
