Leslie Almaraz's Linkedin Analytics

Leslie Almaraz is a first-generation 4th-year student attending UCLA pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Chicanx Studies, passionate about diversifying the STEM field. She was born and raised in Lincoln Heights in a Latinx low-income household, and she continues to take responsibility to speak on the issues that her community faces when pursuing a higher education, especially in STEM fields. She is currently the Lead Accounting Administrator in the Student Government Accounting Office at UCLA. She is formerly the Director of Finance for the General Representative in the UCLA Student Government. She was also the Strategy and Finance intern at iimpact, a gender-lens investment platform, where she worked alongside other like-minded Latinx women making their place in a male-dominated industry.
