* Prepare end to end financial analysis to quantify all purchase price variance drivers versus standard cost on both purchased & produced product with an annual budget in excess $100M and as part of a COGS program in excess of $10B.
* Update MTD and YTD Purchase Price Variance Analysis Commentary and narratives for all related business groups for Senior Management to summarize the drivers of variances, based on my analytics.
* Prepare 25 to 30 functionalized & Non Functionalized Journal Entries, including reporting to the Finance team specific results and notations as necessary; as well as additional monthly and quarterly financial statement close preparation, reporting and analysis.

* Manage and update all Purchase Price Variance transactions from the general ledger into MS Access databases to manipulate into a format needed to create synergies and efficiencies in the reporting process.
* Research Outline Agreement and other PPV errors and mispostings and report to SAP Direct, Inventory Control, Procurement and other teams as needed to correct and update relevant transactions.
* Perform various and numerous ad hoc analyses of differing levels of complexity as requested by management; prepare management summaries to indicate the reasons, explanations and drivers of variances that provides the impetus in the decision making process on Budgeting, Forecasting and Re-forecasting.
* Provide instruction, guidance and direction to the Accountant I as needed.

•	Preparation of annual department budget for grant funds, expenses & encumbrances of $50 million; Analyze budget expenditures/ revenue data and recommend appropriate action
