Hello, I'm Luis Valencia, a seasoned Data Science professional with a deep passion for the transformative power of AI and Machine Learning. While my experience spans a wide range of Data Science projects and initiatives, my particular focus is on the exciting potential of transformers. Over the past three years one of my proudest accomplishments has been spearheading the development of our team's vision, mission, strategy, and roadmap. To support these efforts, I created a comprehensive Data Science lifecycle, governance, and process documentation, as well as guides and templates for end-to-end projects. To ensure the success of our Data Science initiatives, I worked closely with technical and non-technical teams to standardize required technical infrastructure and create the architecture for projects using Azure Machine Learning and Azure DevOps. Additionally, I collaborated with operations teams to maintain and support ML environments and developed metrics and performance guidelines to measure our projects' impact. As an Internal Subject Matter Expert on Data Science, I'm passionate about sharing my knowledge with others. I developed and delivered training in internal AI Bootcamps, covering topics such as AI vs ML, Azure ML Pipelines, Notebooks, Azure AutoML, and evaluation metrics. I also acted as a Subject Matter Expert during the bootcamps for Azure ML/Data Science/ML/Python related queries. I'm committed to staying up-to-date with new industry trends, and I regularly participate in machine learning and AI conferences and events. I've also made it a personal goal to master Azure ML Service, which has made me the single point of contact for future ML projects for both technical and non-technical audiences.
