At foodspring, I managed marketing activities for their UK market. My time with the MARS-acquired brand further strengthened my skills in social media management, copywriting, and influencer marketing. 

Responsibilities at foodspring included:
 • Creating and publishing visual and written content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook.
 • Developing monthly social communication plans by providing ideas, content concepts, and messaging for the UK and multiple European markets.
 • Managing and creating content for the foodspring UK TikTok account, which achieved video views of up to 2.1 million, 386k combined likes, and an account following of 50,000 in three months.
 • Developing the brand's social tone of voice - I wrote original English copy for all social posts, which was later translated into five languages.
 • Establishing a CrossFit athlete strategy, which led to a sharp increase in active foodspring CrossFit box and gym accounts across the UK.
 • Monitoring social media and pop culture trends and creating reactive content in response.
 • Organising influencer photo shoots and CrossFit events.
 • Managing foodspring UK's influencer and Crossfit athlete roster. This included: sourcing influencers, negotiating contracts, creating briefs, and analysing KPl's. Achieved 5 months of consecutive ROI growth for the UK market.

Social Media and Influencer Marketing Manager

At HelloBody, I managed all marketing activities within their UK market. My time with the skincare brand enhanced my knowledge of social media and influencer marketing, and showed me how to operate these functions in a new and competitive market. It also provided me with the necessary opportunities to develop my expertise in content creation and copywriting.

Responsibilities at HelloBody included:
• Creating, designing, and publishing images, videos, and written content for social (TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook), blog posts (WordPress), and CRM (Emarsys).
• Acting as the English copywriter for social channels, the UK website, global press releases, and product packaging.
• Defining the direction of the UK market by creating monthly social communication plans and promotional strategies.
• Streamlining the CRM strategy for the UK market.
• Developing new acquisition channels, such as an Ambassador Program.
• Conceptualising, shooting, and editing video content.

Employment at leading fin-tech company Monzo gave me first-hand experience working within the banking sector. The nature of the role, which was fully remote, allowed me to improve my communication skills and encouraged me to take a more proactive approach to my personal learning and development.

Responsibilities at Monzo included:
• Being an ambassador for Monzo and its values through my communication with users via live chat and phone calls.
• Evaluating KPIs and analysing my results against them, such as response time, overall customer satisfaction, and the number of chats completed per hour.
• Attending regular employee training on banking processes and procedures.
• Supporting Monzo users with their queries and issues.
• Using training materials to keep up-to-date with changes in day-to-day processes, banking regulations, and the app.

Apple

Working at Apple was an incredibly invaluable experience, unlike any other retailer. Being part of such a dynamic and fast-paced environment allowed me to develop my customer service, communication, and teamwork skills to an extremely high level.

Responsibilities at Apple included:
• Learning on the job daily to ensure I had extensive knowledge of Apple products to help customers with their purchases.
• Being an ambassador for the Apple brand by reflecting their core values as a company.
• Recommending Apple products that best suit customers' needs, which included providing solutions for business customers from various sectors.
• Promoting additional Apple services, such as Today at Apple, AppleCare, the Business Team, and Apple Music.
• Analysing the KPIs of my role to identify opportunities, improve my performance, and reach personal targets.
• Handling all in-store carrier connections and dealing with any issues that arose, including customer complaints.

Product Zone Specialist

John Lewis & Partners

After graduating high school, I undertook John Lewis' Retail and Apprenticeship Scheme in their Home Accessories and Gifts department.

The Retail Apprenticeship scheme gave school leavers a learning and development plan and structured on-the-job training to prepare for a potential career in retail. I continued to work as a Selling Assistant for several months after I completed the apprenticeship. 

Responsibilities at John Lewis included:
• Taking ownership of the candles and gifts section and merchandising it with great attention to detail. 
• Being an ambassador for John Lewis by reflecting their core values.
• Processing transactions and returns in-store and over the phone.
• Participating in team building and training workshops in London with retail apprentices from different branches across the UK.
• Working with branches across the UK to fulfil customer orders.
• Promoting company initiatives to customers, such as My John Lewis and the Partnership Card.
