With over 17 years of experience in human resources and talent acquisition, I am a passionate and skilled manufacturing recruiter who strives to find the best fit for both candidates and employers. My mission is to create and implement creative and effective strategies to attract and retain diverse and qualified talent for Owens Corning, a global leader in building and industrial materials. In my current role at Owens Corning, I am responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle, including managing the interview, selection, and hiring processes. I use various platforms and methods to reach out to active and passive candidates, such as community colleges, high school outreach, virtual and face to face career fairs, social media, and employment marketing content. I also provide prompt and consistent communication with candidates at all stages of the recruitment cycle, creating an exceptional candidate experience. Additionally, I have implemented a new HR dashboard to track key metrics and improve efficiency and quality. Some of the skills that I use and develop in my role include workshop facilitation, employee training, and emotional intelligence.
