As a senior engineering and operations leader, I bring a unique mix of technical depth, commercial insight, and transformation experience across complex, regulated manufacturing environments. With over a decade of impact in medical devices, advanced manufacturing, and process optimisation, I’ve built a reputation for driving performance through innovative systems, inclusive leadership, and relentless improvement. I led cross-site operations at a medical device company, managing two distinct production facilities, one focused on textile-based patient handling equipment, the other on electro-mechanical medical chairs and beds. I’ve restructured production using Lean principles, introduced digital tools, including a complete quality inspection platform built on PowerApps and Power BI, and led new product introductions from partial concepts to fully certified devices. My role spans quality, regulatory, and technical governance, and I serve on the Senior Management Team. Alongside this, I founded and manage Apex Manufacturing, a UK-based contract manufacturer supporting OEMs and scaleups with injection moulding and tooling. From building quoting tools to writing our QMS ahead of ISO 9001 and 14001, I’ve ensured we’re operationally excellent and ready to serve industry leaders. Earlier in my career, I developed robotic systems at Bristol Robotics Laboratory, including contributing to the SmartSurg programme for next-generation surgical robots. These formative experiences sparked my passion for manufacturing, innovation, and practical impact. Recognised as one of the UK’s Top 100 in Manufacturing in 2023 and shortlisted for Young Innovator of the Year, I combine a strategic mindset with hands-on capability. I hold an MSc in Engineering Management and a BA in Industrial Design and Technology, and I am currently progressing toward Chartered Engineer (CEng) status. A long-standing STEM Ambassador, I’m committed to building inclusive futures in engineering.
