Through-out my career, I have been helping autistic individuals to live valued social lives and be part of their communities. With this experience, I have developed excellent problem-solving abilities. I am driven by my intellectual curiosity to find solutions and develop pathways of success. Energetic Day Service Manager supporting autistic adults and their families to meet their self-development goals while learning new skills through active support. Extensive knowledge in policies, procedures, and legislation's as well as adhering to new direction standards to deliver exemplary support. In 2012 I founded Sonas Youth Club for young autistic people, giving them a that safe place to be themselves and form friendships and take part in exciting youth work activities. Since 2005 I have been involved in an autism non-profit organisation iCARE and have held different committee and fundraising positions, helping the charity to grow and provide respite, education, training, and support to families with autistic individuals. In 2018 I was awarded ‘an autism hero’ award by a national autism charity for my contribution to making a difference in the autism community.
