Never in a million years have I imagined myself becoming a digital marketer. After finishing high school in the top 5% of the class I went on to study English and South Slavic languages at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. As a student I worked primarily in the translation field, translating movie scripts and writing all kinds of content for various publishers. After finishing my MA, I decided to venture out as an independent freelance translator. In 2017 I opened my own language studio, focusing primarily on business translation. During my freelance years, I worked with several acclaimed companies in the region, including Zlatarna Celje, Sensilab, moje-leče.si, and BoxTV. The following year I co-founded and co-created Žalčan – a local non-profit media production house, helping small organizations and businesses with content creation, design, branding, and social media advertising. It was here that I got my first taste of the digital marketing lifestyle. In 2019 I joined Dinetix, an international digital marketing agency, where I’ve been managing campaigns ever since. Specializing in Google and Facebook advertising, I have helped scale and grow some of the biggest educational brands in the business, impacting tens of thousands of lives across the globe.
