I help businesses through the entire lifecycle from growth, exiting in private markets to IPO. But how did it all began? In 2012, I realized the potential of marketing through digital means and began building websites. In 2015, I came across SEO and applied it to grow my Auto blog "Hottie wheel" to 5,000 organic visitors per day, all with no extra resources except my time, laptop and the internet connection. If you're aware of how SEO works, getting backlinks placed on other websites is a big part of ranking your website on Google. Naturally, I started reaching out to other website owners, and figured out how to send an email to a completely unknown person and get them to place your website link on theirs. Later, I applied the same approach to get a completely unknown person interested in my SEO service to hop on a sales call. We made sales, and served a few clients. But guess what? SEO takes a while to translate into revenue. We generated new traffic within 30 days for every single client, but "new traffic ≠ new revenue." It usually takes a while to convert traffic into revenue and that means it was not for everyone as the "risk appetite" varies from business to business. As an unintended consequence of what we were doing, we figured out "how to get a complete stranger to give you money" with no industry connections, referrals or network. We were working with a few clients at this point, and some of them saw what we were doing and asked whether we could help them generate new customers. Eventually, we decided to give it a try and that worked amazingly well. Unintentionally, I have been stacking up the skills that helps you "get a complete stranger to pay you money" since 2015. (As long as you have something valuable to sell) We continued helping our customers with both these services for the next 6 months. But our operations became very intensive and we were literally all over the place. It just struck me that we needed to double down on what we do best, so we decided to purely focus on helping customers with "getting complete strangers to paying them money".
