I see a world where all children love learning because children who love learning change the world. I work directly with parents to lead their children from disengaged to engaged. Unmotivated to self-led. Bored and switched off to fulfilled. Or in my language from Lights Off to Lights On! My unique educational blueprint - Lights On® Learning - focuses on the inner game of learning so children, teens and adults know how to fully explore and express their human potential. For me it is not so much what we learn, where we learn or even how we learn. It is all about who we are being as a learner. Are we someone who 'can' or one of the 'cannots'? How much are we a creator versus a consumer? Do we have a collaborative advantage that we're courageous enough to express? To ensure all children have the opportunity to love learning we need the significant adults around them to understand what learning feels like when you dive deep into your passions, are courageously vulnerable enough to fail and commit to discovery and mastery. When I began my adventure as an accidental educationalist back in 2008, I won the NCPTA Gold Star Award for changing the life of my children's school. I thought, what if I could change the life of children all round the world? Wouldn't that be a mission worth committing to? So I did. I've discovered we are all capable of achieving so much more than we think, and it is my mission to help 10 million families learn to master their learning circuitry by 2025. Game on! In the years that followed I've run my own Creative Learning Centres, become a Master Neurocoach, developed my own transformational tool - the Lights On® Spectrum and set up and now host a global online community for parents who want their children to be happy, engaged and self-led. Isn't that every parent? Yes most likely. But not every parent is prepared to do what it takes because it requires us to grow ourselves. I believe every child is born with something they are naturally good at and with the right focus, attention and energy they can become great at it over time. To do that they need to know how to tap into both their hidden and exponential potential.
