I absolutely love people, especially children; which is why I answered a calling to become a teacher! I have a burning desire to transform the education field by considering the active role of teachers, students, and parents together. I believe that real learning is not about 'transmitting information and evaluating' but about creating that unique connection with our students. In 2009, I began training Taekwondo, and kept training with dedication until I attained my Black Belt. Martial Arts has become an integral part of my teaching experience with children. I am a survivor of Severe Depression and Anorexia Nervosa and have learned to overcome my struggles by striving to go beyond my limitations.
