You had me at Double Bubble. The hard misshaped bubblegum rolling across my desk shaped the start of my career. My first-grade teacher, Mrs. Rounds, took the time to understand me and my individual needs and meet me on my level. When I needed a push, she would toss a piece of double bubble bubblegum onto my desk, and it made me feel like I could do anything. I wanted to be just like her. I wanted to help people. That piece of bubble gum was the start of a butterfly effect into education, then tech, and now product. While becoming an educator was the first step in my journey, I knew it wasn’t my final destination. I am constantly learning, adapting, and thriving with each new opportunity that comes my way. Over the last few years, I’ve found that my passion lies at the intersection of relationship-building, problem-solving, and helping others succeed. I find immense satisfaction in helping a company grow. Throughout my career, I have developed a unique skillset comprised of empathy, adaptability, soft leadership, and communication. I find a sense of accomplishment in prioritizing, identifying customer needs, deciphering data, and understanding product frameworks. Here what I bring to the table: I delivered a virtual curriculum to meet the needs of students engaged in home learning because of Covid-19 school closings. I identified the requirements for usability, functionality, and performance. I defined the roadmap and the metrics for success. I lead cross-functional teams to deliver the MVP. I was in the top 25th percentile for growth metrics for all NC educators 3 years in a row. I achieved this through a continuous data-driven feedback loop. I lead my team of 22 onboarding specialists to improve the Q1 customer engagement growth metric by identifying opportunities to improve the onboarding process. I carried out A/B testing and validated the new processes through data. I delivered findings and conducted training on best practices resulting in a company-wide increase in customer engagement. I have conducted over 2000 1:1 concierge customer onboardings to the Superhuman product. I have achieved an average 75% engagement rate, 11% over target. I have collected and documented customer feedback, filed bugs and updated issues. I have completed Product School’s Product Manager Certification Skills
