Senior Manager, Business Development and Marketing

1) Marketing and Communications:
• Successfully pitched media outlets to secure earned media opportunities resulting in over $400,000 in total media value and over 10 million impressions for HMI Institute mentions.
• Implemented effective strategies that organically grew the company’s ROI from $0 to over $400,000.
• Maintained top-of-mind recall for the company in discussions relating to social impact and mid-career transition in healthcare careers.

2) Corporate & Community Partnerships: 
• Prospected and secured partnerships that increased the company's social impact, including collaboration with advisors to GROs to raise awareness for healthcare careers.
• Led the management and hosting of corporate visits for senior management and overseas VIPs, including the Minister for Education, Chan Chun Sing's visit to view the Institute's efforts in skills development and building of workforce pipeline for the healthcare sector in the continuing education and training (CET) space.

3) Business Development:
• Successfully drove and secured large-scale contracts resulting in increased revenue streams and profitability for the company.
• Collaborated with senior management to develop and execute the company's business strategy.

4) Large-scale project management: 
• Successfully led large-scale projects with stakeholders, including MOH and HPB, to support the national Swab Operations for COVID. Impacting more than 87,000 individuals from various sectors.

5) Event Management:
• Successfully planned and executed the HMI Institute's 20th-anniversary celebration and graduation ceremony, leading a team from pre to post-event.
• Ensured a highly successful and memorable experience for all attendees, including C-suites, senior management from public and private healthcare organisations.
• Achieved successful media coverage on channels such as CNA, The Straits Times, Zaobao, 938 live and Money 89.3FM, resulting in increased visibility and brand recognition for the company.

NKF Singapore (National Kidney Foundation)

1) Project Lead, revamp of the NKF Kidney Discovery Centre 
•	Led a $1.5 million project to revamp the NKF Kidney Discovery Centre, driving concept, design, and construction
•	Managed cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery on time and within budget.

2) Event Planning and Management 
•	Led the official opening of the NKF Dialysis Centre in partnership with the community, successfully engaging key stakeholders and driving positive press coverage
•	Organised and led the School Appreciation Event to nurture partnerships with educational institutions, resulting in increased collaboration and support for NKF's mission

3) Social Media Marketing 
•	Plan, curate, and manage NKF's social media accounts to maximise reach and engagement
•	Develop and execute social media campaigns to drive awareness and engagement around NKF's mission and initiatives

•	Manage key accounts and partnerships, driving successful collaborations and impactful outcomes
•	Create and lead programs to educate the public on kidney health and prevention, resulting in increased awareness and engagement

I started as a teacher and was promoted to internal Subject Head within a year. This promotion allowed me to lead a team of over 10 education officers. Realizing the importance of improving our department's efficiency, I proactively streamlined workflow processes and enhanced operating procedures (SOPs). Additionally, I presented at renowned local and international conferences and shared my knowledge with fellow educators.
