In this role, I proposed a comprehensive learning strategy focused on career development and employee retention, launched and administered our LearnUpon LMS, built and led teams of coworkers and a contractor to rapidly develop an entire catalog of custom-built and off-the-shelf content (over 80 courses and learning paths in 3 months) for both compliance and role-specific training needs, and designed, deployed and facilitated Basecamp, a highly engaging, blended active learning experience that level sets AID employees on our culture, business, and core solutions. CSAT on all developed solutions to date was 100% recommended, and the ROI for the strategy I was about to implement was 182% return when a RIF occurred and my function was deprioritized.

During my first six weeks in role, I completed a comprehensive discovery of the engineering functions at Blackbaud, corroborating data from 70+ interviews, 50+ hours of live and recorded observation, and scraping data from Slack channels and doc sites. From that analysis work, I went on to design and develop an Engineering Excellence hub (a comprehensive catalog of the various formal and informal learning options available for technical roles), implemented a peer-to-peer learning model, increased participation in the Microsoft ESI program by 78%, prototyped a learning analytics dashboard, and built a comprehensive business case for implementing an internal talent marketplace in RDO.

During my brief stint at Visa, I designed and produced compelling learning experiences for the Product and Tech Colleges at Visa University. My work there included developing several learning experiences supporting the Visa Direct product, an internal Jupyter notebook coding environment to safely and securely experiment with Visa-sensitive data, and several deliverables supporting Visa's SAFe Agile Transformation initiative.

When Sun was acquired, my role at Oracle involved designing and developing myself, as well as leading teams that develop cutting edge technology-based innovations in learning, performance and user assistance. I also led an Oracle-wide, cross-team learning consortium to increase collaboration and share best practices with other teams at Oracle and was the Oracle primary contact for our membership in Elliott Masie's Learning Consortium. More recently, I worked on projects involving user assistance embedded in products, AI, machine learning and deep learning. I have spent the past couple of years upskilling in this area, including becoming proficient at coding in Python. I was heavily involved in competitive analysis research, data mining and analytics, user experience research, intelligent and intuitive product design, and design of intelligent systems. I am also a certified scrum master and have effectively led teams and projects using this methodology.
