I’ve always been someone driven by connection. I knew I would build a career focused on building relationships and helping people. Although it took me a while to find recruitment, my years as a people manager in retail helped me to grow into the recruiter I am today. Over my time leading people, I built expertise in coaching, training, recruiting/hiring, sales, operations, order management, customer service, and more. It was with all of that in my toolkit that I moved into Human Resources and Recruitment. As a queer and chronically ill woman (anyone else out there with Crohn’s or Colitis?!) I am very passionate about diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. I believe that it is everyone’s responsibility to speak up and support each other in the workplace. Advocating for myself or others may not always be easy, but I know it's what's right. My goal in my work (and life) is to make sure that everyone around me feels welcomed, supported, and cared about.
