After serving in several operational positions in the IDF artillery special units, Liran started his career at 21 as sales manager for Harley-Davidson Israel and at 23 was promoted to dealership management. At age 24, while studying Law and Business at IDC, Liran along with his older brother Idan and their partner Sean Gal, established XnTouch, one of the world’s first app-toy companies. The company designed and manufactured unique physical toys that integrate with smartphones and tablets, enhancing the mobile gaming experience. In 2012-2013, XnTouch partnered with Halfbrick Studios, the Australian developer of the top-selling app Fruit Ninja, to release a line of branded app-toys combining the physical and digital to provide the ultimate Fruit Ninja experience. XnTouch launched worldwide campaigns through muliple digital channels including Facebook, Amazon, Shopify and Kickstarter. After graduating with a Law and Business degree, Liran continued his focus on digital and e-commerce and became a strategic marketing advisor to Israeli consumer product companies seeking to expand online. That year, after successfully working with clients including RideAir and WheeMe, Liran took his passion a step further and created Sparqly, a digital services company with a focus on crowdfunding campaigns and e-commerce shops. In 2017, after a series of fruitful collaborations between Volcano Studios (a 3D and web development company) and Sparqly, the two companies combined and established Pyro - an edgy digital creative studio, where complex web development merged with visual art and animations to create unique solutions for websites, social media, ecommerce for established brands in Israel. Pyro grew quickly to more than 25 professionals on staff offering a one-stop solution for leading brands in Israel. As a Pyro partner and head of business development, Liran led projects with a global footprint including: Johnson Control Innovation, Strauss, Amdocs, Gett, Hotelmize and BridgeCrew. In 2018 Pyro participated in the initial product development and became an equity partner in Propel, a leading PR SaaS platform. Liran continues to work with the Propel leadership team on product development and marketing strategies. In 2020 Pyro launched BeerBazaar‘s online store, which quickly rose to top 10 amongst Shopify stores in Israel. After firsthand experience with logistics while launching the BeerBazaar online store, Liran together with Avi Moskowitz (BeerBazaar's Partner & CEO) created PDQ - a software platform to end the logistics nightmare for SMBs.
