Defined the company’s yearly objectives creating a clear focus that allowed the company to identify an early gap in the market, resulting in the company becoming a strong solution provider to the neglected mid-sized company market.  
•	Implemented a new corporate strategy transforming the company from selling boxed-solutions, to providing complex consultation services to corporates throughout South Africa without increasing the company’s operational cost.

Working with the corporation's CEO and the executive team including the CFO and CMO as an IT strategist fulfilling the role of CIO, I was responsible for the strategy and execution of Hi Fi Corporation's IT projects in conjunction with JD Group's IT services. which included the national WAN, Interactive initiatives (website & mobile), In Store system and processes. 

Responsible to consulting to the group for the migration of the HiFi Corporation website into eCommerce and creating a social media strategy.

Consulting to Blue Label on the IT systems of a newly acquired business. The retail business was in the process of being sold to a third party which required system integration, and an ongoing development of the IT strategy for the business.

Brought into the business as the CTO and responsible for overseeing and redesigning the company's  WAN network, connectivity and Hosting environment.

Responsible for the appointment of the newly appointed technical team and company who would be responsible for the day to day operation of the business.

Responsible for the national running of the company's IT infrastructure including all aspects of IT such as Email, connectivity, web, and various servers.
Developed a customized Auction System that streamlined the company's operation and interaction with external services providers whilst providing Aucor management control and tracking of information.

Putting videos on YouTube and moving on 

is like ordering coffee and never collecting it.

It's crazy to me that after doing all the work of getting a video out, businesses are not leveraging the power of what they have just done.

What I like to do with my clients is build out one substantial, teaching-focused video explaining a problem or walking through a process. 

Once it’s up, we slice out short moments for Shorts and Reels, transcribe the best sections into newsletters and posts, and pull out direct answers for FAQ clips. 

One shoot covers an entire month of being everywhere. And that is on purpose.

When people see your face solving problems that they have, it does two things: 
First, it hits straight at user intent (that’s what people come to search for). 
Second, it builds actual trust because they’ve seen you actually do it.

Many "gurus" tell you to make more content to "be consistent," or some other bullshit.

I don't believe MORE is better. 
I believe in leveraging what you have to get MORE.

I’ll be honest - I don’t get it.

Why are so many businesses still ignoring YouTube?

Video is the number one way to show that you know your stuff and can help a viewer who needs your help.

So why do so few companies treat it like a strategic business asset?

Businesses are not trying to be “a YouTuber.”
YouTube is about building a content library and being recommended when your ideal client is actively searching for what you do.

I’m not trying to be dramatic.

This year I’ve watched good expert-led businesses lose clients to that "new-business" because they "Hoovered it". They literally told me that they don't need to invest in content because "everyone knows who they are."

That didn't work out well for Hoover...
And it isn't working out too well for those who are relying on marketing tactics from 2023.
 
You have to be top of mind, or someone else will be, especially in the world of AI, where your web traffic is declining fast.

You need to be part of the conversation that is happening in AI and in search, and you do that with your own content.  

The amount of money being lost is staggering as businesses watch their customers churn before their very eyes. Not because the competitor is better, but because their competitor shows up and they don't.

Make it make sense...
