Responsible to consulting to the group for the migration of the HiFi Corporation website into eCommerce and creating a social media strategy.

Developed a customized Auction System that streamlined the company's operation and interaction with external services providers whilst providing Aucor management control and tracking of information.

Breaking Exciting News: I got in!

As I am building out my YouTube Consulting services for businesses, I applied to join an exclusive Mastermind.

I told someone about it and they said that it's a sign of weakness and I shouldn't tell anyone about it.

I disagree.

Firstly, regardless of how much you know, there are always smarter people that you can and should learn from. 

As they say: if you are the smartest person in the room, you are in the wrong room.

Secondly, I know that I need help and I am ok asking for it.

It's stupid trying the same thing over and over without getting results.

Now there are plenty of these out there, so here is why I chose this particular one:
1. The person running it, is someone I highly respect in the industry.
2. He has a great reputation and track history of having done it for years.
3. Has the same "no bullshit let's get it done" attitude that I have.
4. He has a model that I want to replicate. The one I knew I needed to build but didn't. (That's on me for being persuaded otherwise)

It's exclusive. 
You go through an interview process, and only if selected can you take part.
I had my interview today, now I am waiting for a decision.

Regardless of how it goes, one thing is for sure: It's time to change it up and get way more vocal about YouTube, what I do for my clients, and lessons I learn along the way.

Thoughts about Masterminds? worth it or nah?

Your “lead magnet” isn’t the draw. 

You are.

I keep watching firms obsess over their CRM setup, drip sequences, all the tactical shit… as if that’s what actually pulls in serious business. 

Meanwhile, the founders with a visible, trusted face are the ones who get “I feel like I already know you” before the first call.

This isn’t theory. 

I’ve seen businesses spend five figures a month driving paid traffic to some gated checklist, but when we looked at their data, their YouTube channel quietly sent them the best-fit leads who converted the most with real LTV (Life Time Value).

Those who saw their ads, downloaded their lead magnet, and unsubscribed.

As the tech gets smarter, especially in a world of AI, the algorithm cares about signals of trust. Not how cute your retargeting is.

The only funnel that compounds is you building real authority, in public, over time.

So yeah, you can keep tweaking your landing page. 
Or 
You can start putting what you actually know on video, at scale, where search, referrals, and AI can find it, so your ideal clients get it shoved in their feed.

Like Gary Vaynerchuk said: the ultimate funnel is you.

Everything else is just plumbing.

It’s not about having the biggest audience.

It’s about having the right one.

I see so many people chasing massive numbers. 
Ten thousand, a hundred thousand, a million followers. 
That dopamine hit is real but it’s a distraction.

So you build this huge, anonymous crowd. 
They have no clue what you do. 
They don’t care. 
They’ll never become clients.

I know people with a million subscribers who barely make rent off that “audience.”  
I also know a real estate firm I work with on YouTube with just a few thousand subscribers quietly pulling in millions in commissions.

They get people who engage, ask questions, and actually need what’s on offer.

This is why I tell clients: optimize for relevance, not volume.  
Solve problems for 500 people who care, 
not the 5,000 who scroll past.

In other words: Right views from the right people.

Nobody cares about your first video.

Or your second.

Everyone’s too busy worrying about their own stuff to notice if your channel gets five likes, or your video sounds weird, or your lighting sucks.

The internet’s not watching. 

Most of the time, your first twenty uploads are just you talking to a void.

I see so many founders freeze up about posting their first YouTube video. They want it perfect, branded, bulletproof. 
Meanwhile, the folks actually getting business from YouTube started with videos that made them cringe six months later.

We have all been there. 
Everyone starts being crappy.
It's a skill and just like every other skill, the more you do, the better you get.

Showing up over and over and getting real with what you actually know is all that counts.

One year from now, if you start posting, you’ll be the person who can say: “I remember when I was scared to upload this.” 
And being real and authentic and yes, even vulnerable, is how you build trust in a ways that brochures never will.

YouTube isn’t about looking impressive. 
It’s about building trust at scale.

Subscriber count doesn’t matter.
Trust does.

The bottom line is that your first video won’t change the world. 
But it might just change your business.

I got irritated today.

This Accounting firm has around 25 videos filmed and edited but they won't upload them.

Why?

Because they aren't "good enough"

Who made you the judge, jury, and executioner for what your audience finds valuable?

To me, it's like having the answers to questions that someone is struggling with and not making those available because of some bullshit reason.

Newsflash: I’ve never seen a business get fewer clients by helping more people.

I watched some of the videos, and I couldn't tell what was wrong or off-brand or where the shadows were. 
I was too busy learning about LLC vs S-Corp.

I swear, this whole "has to be perfect" syndrome has killed more business YouTube channels than bad lighting ever will.

While you’re deciding whether the background is “on brand,” your customer is finding the answers somewhere else. 
And that “somewhere else” is usually a competitor who uploads without a perfectly lit video.
