I am not a fan of influencer marketing or social media. Actually, I used to hate ‘influencers’ up until a couple of years ago. So: how did I end up with a company that focusses on both? Let’s start at the beginning. I was born in Amsterdam, grew up thinking I was going to be a dancer, became a barista and bartender, bra fitter, ski instructor and eventually brand specialist. After getting my first sponsorship at just 800 followers, I got more and more interested in social media and influencer marketing. However, I still hated the way things were done in this industry. Events and hospitality are at the core of what I love and I have been involved in both industries for years now. Experiencing the struggles they have working with agencies on social media and marketing I figured there was another way to do things. Enter: POV Agency. At POV Agency we aim to work WITH B2C companies, instead of working for them. Passion for the brands we collaborate with and UGC are at the core of this.
