Promoted to senior career coach where I have contributed to a number of strategic programming and curriculum initiatives on a national level, including but not limited to: 

- Planning, development, and facilitation of a newly created instructional curriculum serving hundreds of students across North America; collaborated with Outcomes senior leadership to inform curriculum content and design 

- Mentorship of junior career coaches and those recently promoted to senior career coach 

- Launch of an Outcomes North America programming calendar designed to streamline communication of virtual events hosted by career coaches on a monthly basis

Senior Career Coach

Provide high impact virtual coaching to students navigating career pivots from a variety of backgrounds into technical roles as software developers, designers, and/or data scientists. Key accomplishments include, but are not limited to: 

- Deliver exceptional one-on-one and group coaching to 100+ job seekers per quarter on foundational elements of the job search, including but not limited to: crafting a resume for roles in tech, behavioral interview coaching, negotiation strategy, navigating impostor syndrome, and more

- Conceptualized, planned, and launched Get Connected, a virtual networking conference that provided 175+ job seekers with the skills and knowledge to grow their online presence and networks in an impactful way resulting in faster job placement

- Spearheaded launch of Technical Interview Power Week, an initiative that brought together industry experts, educators, and members of the alumni community to help 150+ job seekers build the skills and confidence to navigate technical interviews and design challenges

Career Coach

JPro

Selected from a competitive pool of candidates to serve as a Career Coach for RISE, an initiative of the JPRO Network and the Jewish Federations of North America, that supported professionals working in the Jewish sector whose roles were impacted by the global pandemic.

Partnered with clients to navigate career transitions with an emphasis on strengths-based coaching. Coaching focus areas included, but were not limited to: 

- Storytelling, branding, and networking strategy
- Navigating impostor syndrome
- Resume and cover letter writing
- Behavioral interview coaching 
- Negotiation coaching 

Based on positive feedback and results from clients, my contract was renewed until the program formally wrapped up in January 2022.

Ladies Get Paid

Facilitated a workshop for 100+ attendees as part of a month-long job search bootcamp that provided insight on how to craft an effective cover letter and strategies on how to prepare for behavioral interviews.

Virtual Workshop Facilitator

Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation

Managed key elements of the Schusterman Fellowship, a highly selective 18-month leadership development program for non-profit executives committed to driving change in their organizations and in the world. Key accomplishments include:

- Coached and advised 30+ Schusterman Fellows on customized leadership development plans, including goal setting, identifying opportunities for growth and connecting them with Fellowship alumni to provide mentorship and support. 

- Designed a detailed project plan and oversaw implementation to successfully recruit and onboard the sixth cohort of Schusterman Fellows. 

- Facilitated relationships with external stakeholders to support Fellows' leadership journeys, including executive leaders, coaches, facilitators and programmatic partners.

Program Officer

The Washington Post

Initially hired as a Talent Specialist to help diversify the tech talent pipeline in HR through community partnerships and live events, then promoted to Organizational Development Consultant where I led high-impact culture building initiatives across the company. 

Key accomplishments:

- Developed, planned, and executed 30+ large-scale internal events and 100+ new employee orientation sessions over a three year period that drove a culture of innovation and continuous learning. Large scale events included: Town Halls with senior leadership, skill-based development conferences, product seminars, social programs, and annual awards ceremony and reception. Diversity and inclusion was top of mind in program design. Programs featured and were made accessible in a live format to remote colleagues whenever possible. 

- Managed weekly orientation facilitation and content for all employees, contractors and interns.

- Onboarded and served as lead HR point of contact for all 800 members of The Washington Post's newsroom.

Organizational Development Consultant

Key accomplishments:

- Increased the number of female hires in engineering roles by 30% by building partnerships with local technology groups and universities to build a robust and diverse pipeline of candidates.

-Designed a 10-week summer internship experience for 30 developer, designer, and product interns by partnering with Senior Recruiter in Engineering and Engineering Directors.

Talent Acquisition & Development Specialist

Sixth & I

Sixth & I is a center for arts, entertainment, and ideas and a synagogue that reimagines how religion and community can enhance people’s everyday lives. I was hired to support the planning and execution of arts and culture programming, including: large-scale author/speaker talks, live podcast tapings, and salon-style conversations. 

In 2014, I was promoted to Cultural Programming and HR Manager. My portfolio, which had previously included oversight of Sixth & I's volunteer community, grew to include recruitment, onboarding and orientation for all full-time and part-time staff. 

Key accomplishments: 

- Coordinated 50+ large-scale speaker events annually with thought leaders, politicians, novelists, and celebrities, including Pulitzer Prize-winner Toni Morrison, Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, and actress Mindy Kaling.

- Managed relationships with programming partners, including The Atlantic, NPR, Slate, 92Y, the MacArthur Foundation, PEN/Faulkner Foundation, and Politics & Prose Bookstore, in order to host co-sponsored events and coordinate talent management, staffing, financials, and book orders.

- Recruited, interviewed, and on-boarded all incoming staff members; streamlined onboarding process through creation of staff manual.

- Developed innovative content for Not Your Bubbe’s Sisterhood, an award-winning program series for millennial women that engaged community members in Jewish rituals and holidays through a non-traditional lens.

Cultural Programming and Human Resources Manager

After volunteering at Sixth & I for a year, I was hired as the organization's first part-time event assistant. My role involved supporting front-end operations for author/speaker talks, concerts, comedy shows, religious gatherings, social events, and more.

Through Jewish study, reflective skill-building sessions, and advocacy events, I deepened my commitment to promote justice both personally and professionally.
