UX Designer

As a digital designer I design and shape unique, user-centric web pages and experiences. For instance, redesigning an accommodation page or translating a marketing campaign. 

I'm a member of the Cross & Upsell, Self-Service team, working in an agile manner with regular incremental development cycles (sprints). My responsibilities include front-end development (and deployment) with HTML/SCSS. I use tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD etc. to visualise the user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction, by enhancing new or existing features, by testing them with end-users and ensuring that designs adhere to our style guides.

Analyzed protocols to translate the work flows to the new system "Connect". I resolved many interface issues during user acceptance testing by designing features and to (re)test them with the end-users and by openly discussing their feedback. I supervised the implementation and optimization of Connect in the repatriation/evacuation department.

Business Information Analyst / UX Designer

As centralist I am the first contact for customers in need. Eurocross Assistance helps people who get into trouble for various reasons when travelling midland or abroad. Within this function I learned to understand the customer and I learned how to ensure our team acts rapidly to make the customer feel care-free and get home safe. Aside from that, I also had the benefit to sit down with some insurance companies (clients) to design and analyse the customer journey of their insured members to adjust our protocols.

I set up the basics of usability within the company by testing new mobile games and researching the flow of our current games. With information collected during my work as chat operator we could improve some features in existing games and invite several players for a usability test. I provided descriptions to create personas and presented the first step in user centered design.

As a chat operator I function as a support technician. I provide technical support and troubleshooting services to end-users who need assistance with our platform. As a remote help desk I support customers via phone, mail, facebook and on-site. We also offer an in game chat service which has to be moderated continuously.

The purpose of this assignment was to research the online behaviour of end-users and how to influence it. Accordingly, the psychology behind the interface of the website was the starting point of this project. It made me feel immensely proud to receive only positive reactions from both end-users and the commissioning company. Especially, regarding the fact that I personally established the guidelines for the responsive website I (re)designed based on user research.

Bibi Alhaja Bijoux

I got hired after finishing my internship to continue as a graphic designer with a focus on social media.  I photographed products, worked on photo editing, catalog design and social media maintenance on Facebook and Instagram for Bibi Alhaja Bijoux and BijouxStore. Every trimester they launched a new jewelery collection with a catalog made by me. I was also the one to keep the webshop updated with new/old collections, product descriptions, pricing and sales.
