Marketing was bringing in a record number of patients. We negotiated high paying contracts. Our revenue was still decreasing. ๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐ ๐ฐ๐๐ฌ ๐ง๐จ ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง... ๐๐จ ๐ฐ๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ ๐จ๐ง๐. I was an executive at a physical therapy network where our goal was to provide more revenue for our clients. We brought in a record number of patients through marketing, increased the rates for the insurance contracts and stillโฆ the revenue was not increasing. I knew that something wasnโt right, so I started looking at the numbers. The data was showing that the contracts were not paying correctly. Insurance companies have a lot of power, and we found that our clients were too tired to fight them any longer. They were using PPO Networks to process the billing and give our clients less money. We tried to dispute the payments, we worked with lawyers, and everything resulted in the insurance companies favor. Apparently, this was a normal thing, and we were told several times that there was nothing we could do about it. ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ ๐จ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฌ ๐๐ซ๐ ๐ฌ๐จ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ฎ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฅ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ซ๐ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ง๐จ๐ญ ๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐๐ฒ-๐ฆ๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, ๐๐ง๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ก๐๐ฏ๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐ ๐ข๐ญ. ๐๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐ก๐๐ซ๐ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌ ๐ ๐จ. There had to be an answer, and we were not willing to give up. We spent four years building a solution. Time and time again, we were told no, it canโt be done, there is no way around it and FINALLY, we created a solution and proved them wrong. Our solution results in more revenue for our clients. Physical therapists change lives every day. They ELIMINATE pain for their patients. More revenue makes it easier for them to focus on providing the best care to their patients and invest in technology to use in treatments. It gives power back to them and allows them to get paid the correct amount for the hard work that they do. Iโve ๐ฌ๐ค๐ง๐ ๐๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ฉ๐ ๐๐ช๐ฃ๐๐ง๐๐๐จ ๐ค๐ professionals, identifying obstacles within their business and providing strategies to help with growth, revenue generation, marketing, and business development. I have seen too often that companies don't realize they are not reaching their ๐บ๐ฎ๐ ๐ถ๐บ๐๐บ ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฎ๐น because they simply don't see a problem.
