Reporting to the COO, Develop, launch and lead lifecycle (email & SMS) marketing division identifying the business need, prospective clients, and expansion opportunities.

Client Retention - step in to support teams on accounts as needed. Integrate email and SMS offerings with omnichannel strategy for clients. Establish relationships with key partners in the ecommerce retention ecosystem to foster collaboration and deepen the team’s understanding of developing technology. Develop systems and processes to reduce client churn and retention rate including international brands.

Ownership of P&L - responsible for effectively managing resources within the department and maintaining profit at scale, ensuring the department is optimized with consistent MoM growth. Forecast needed hires to accommodate incoming business, anticipate new roles and role shifts to best service clients and retain talent. Act as a resource to the business development team for prospect audits, new business pitches, and scoping of contracts.

Product & Team Growth - Design and implement clear SOPs for roadmaps, client meetings, team meetings, quarterly reporting, and other core client service procedures. Ensure retention teams are staffed at 85-90% capacity to achieve optimal profitability. Develop strategies and offerings that scale performance at the forefront of industry trends. Oversee team members’ growth and development including managing an international team.

Director of Lifecycle Marketing

Oversee the marketing operations team partnering with cross-functional internal teams, including overall strategy & budget, process management, as well as ongoing training for skills development and competency on all marketing technology. Strategize business growth and support, integrating marketing partners strategizing and executing value proposition communication, target client identification, evaluating client operational readiness, including campaign planning and execution, partner enablement, and client feedback collection (NPS).

• Craft marketing strategy including service positioning and value propositions for target audience to be used in service development and business marketing campaigns

• Help identify campaign targets driven by business goals focused on acquisition, engagement, and awareness

• Main point of contact for all marketing touchpoints for partner, lead nurturing (client prospecting), and internal marketing teams

• Drive client and partner enablement by developing educational content (infographics, webinars, blog posts) and streamlining internal processes for content development and execution

• Oversee data administration, including master data strategy and data stewardship, marketing measurement and analytics

• Work closely with the technology team on all technology & data shared with other departments, to ensure the contribution of clean, complete data and administrative alignment

Providing critical insight into digital communications development; delivering leadership and ultimately driving enrollment goals. Working directly with agency partners, internal staff, and resources to manage projects and collaborate with the creative team in conceptualizing, planning, and implementing innovative marketing communications strategies.
