Working in close collaboration with the content team, Valtech's industry thought leaders, local marketing and sales teams, the website team and MarTech to realise the optimal user journey and provide the campaign team with all the input needed to run successful marketing campaigns.

Campaign Director Europe & APMENA

Responsible for the paid marketing strategy and tactics and email tactics as well as its execution done by the advertising specialists for Valtech's Global Marketing team.

This included:
- Creation of ad content together with the content team
- Defining a strategy together with the content strategist
- Reporting on results and ensuring continuous improvement.

Digital Marketing Consultant

Responsible for the marketing strategy, tactics and operations for clients ranging from chemical manufacturers to retail companies. Paid social channels included LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram, TikTok and Spotify. Involved in pitches for digital marketing services and coaching junior advertisers on their projects.

Next to client work, I was involved in the following projects for Valtech internally:
- Part of the social team for Valtech's Instagram account, where I was responsible for the planning and hosting the meetings
- Advising and supporting HR with paid recruitment campaigns
- Campaign Content Strategist for Valtech's own global marketing team

Skipperland launched a new website early 2022 and needed help taking the website to the next level and promoting it to their existing and new customers. I helped them getting the products online, improving the website experience, updating their Instagram account, creating a Company Page on LinkedIn, giving UX and marketing advice, and running some online advertising campaigns.

With its specialisation in digital marketing campaigns for non-profit organisations, I have worked for a wide variety of clients during my time at Jalt. From Amnesty International Netherlands & Australia, Plan International and WOMEN Inc creating a fairer world, to Pink Ribbon fighting against breast cancer and Wakker Dier improving the welfare of animals. 

Most campaigns were conversion driven, namely to raise funds for these non-profit organisations. As such, I have gained a lot of experience in lead generation campaigns. When available, I optimised the campaign based on the ROI derived from the realised donation amount (either online or via telemarketing). Other examples of campaigns are conversion campaigns optimised for webshop sales, brand awareness campaigns and full funnel campaigns.

Channels included Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, Google Search (including Google Grants), Google Display, and Bing. Furthermore, I have set up, executed and reported multiple test plans to optimise marketing campaigns as well as landing pages.

Activities included, but not limited to:
- Advice: type of campaign/proposition, goal expectations, ad creation and targeting, landing page (UX & CRO)
- Setup: campaigns, ads, tests (for ad and landing page optimisation), conversion measurements
- Reporting: creating (custom) dashboards, final reports, year plans
- Mentoring junior advertising specialists

Marketing: updating Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook profiles, creating marketing campaigns on social media and Google Adwords, editing and publishing video interviews and promotional videos on YouTube and news platforms, translations to Dutch and English and final checks of printed material such as leaflets and roll-up banners

Summer Assistant

Vandebron

Vandebron is a utility company that provides electricity and gas in The Netherlands. It connects those individuals or organizations that sustainably generate electricity to those who make use of a utility company. For example, if a Dutch farmer generates his own electricity by use of a windmill or solar panels and generates more than he uses himself, he can sell this excess to other Dutch inhabitants through Vandebron's platform. Furthermore, for each cubicle of gas that is emitted through Vandebron, the amount of CO2 is compensated by means of Gold Standard's CO2-compensation programmes taking place throughout the world.

Job activities:
Together with one or two colleagues, I worked at biological food markets, supermarkets and other locations to promote Vandebron's services and sign subscription contracts. I was promoted already after two days, earlier than the normal procedure due to a relatively high number of subscriptions sold.
