Researcher, innovator, nurse, editor in chief I am a associate professor at Faculty of Nursing and Public Health at Nord University, researcher at Department of Computer Science at NTNU and editor in chief at Sykepleien Forskning. My main research areas are 1) mental health as risk factor for cardiovascular health; 2) risk factors for sepsis and 3) clinical research. The methods I use are varied, causal, descriptive, machine learning and qualitative research. I also teach nursing students and am a proud supervisor for master and PhD students. In addition, I work as a nurse researcher and educator in Nord-Trøndelag Hospital Trust doing own research, working with innovation and advising other nurses in projects from idea to publication/ presentation. I have worked as a nurse (since 1994), as an intensive care nurse (since 2000) and also as a teacher in the intensive care training program and in the bachelor of nursing program. In between, I have done some additional consultant work for educational material in nursing and as a reviewer. I
