I am an effective communicator in all forms with strong management skills. Hands on problem solving with the ability to generate ideas and solutions, is one of my strong points. Taking initiative and executing projects with creativity is one of my favourite way of working. I am an accomplished industry professional with varied skills and abilities in operations management, who has been managing cross-functional divisions over 9 years for a major Oil & Gas company, with two sets of client managers over this period. More recently caretaking 38 catering contracts mostly based in Gauteng with clients ranging within varied sectors of business. I am a results-driven leader with skills in strategic planning and process optimisation to maximise resources to reach optimal levels of success. Fast-paced demands are met whilst keeping to regulatory requirements with the collaboration of the team. Keeping managers and staff focused and positive in day-to-day operations with the long-term goals in mind, is part of my success. Creating and breeding cohesion within the team is important to me, as it ensures backup amongst peers and closes gaps otherwise missed. Leadership is a privilege through mentoring, skills development and ensuring corporate alignment whilst leading the team to great heights. Client satisfaction is key in retaining a contract, but it should be handled with skill to remain within the confounds of the contract scope and income agreed. Establishing and maintaining relationships with service providers, suppliers and other stakeholders contributes to the success of what I do.
