Took an account that was black listed for not paying, realised it was merely an internal disconnection, used my contacts to prompt an email from the CEO to finance which created prompt payment and then sold £200k+ of training in the first year to create the following outcome:

In an international systems integrator, the transition team were stuck in crisis levels of losses, caused by crushed confidence and lack of ownership.  Our solution helped the team to turn around the slump and go from 6 ‘red reviews’ per week of failing transitions to one or two per month (beneath the expected for the industry.) The programme still has impact and a following to the principles years later.

Consulting with complex, matrixed and international organisations to deliver solutions for leadership, talent development, culture change, sales and strategy execution. Co-owning the largest account for FC globally communicating and finding new sales opportunities within the European and Asia Pac regions.

In the All Access Pass product, tracking client journeys to ensure customer success and retention long term. I also enjoyed creating mini case studies (debadged) to share best practice with all my clients.

Created a Leadership Development Program and collaborated with university to make it MA qualification. Moderated to ensure consistency and standards maintained. The charity who commissioned this saved £60k from just one innovation made during this programme.

Delivered online sessions on how to study and write notes for University of Oxford's online portal.

Worked with a County Council on a development programme - three modules: Relate, Communicate and Drive - teaching pro-active people skills, with workshops training people how to hold those conversations not just why or what style. Fab people and great feedback - ask me for a case study.

Worked with government agency and QA on authoring some behavioural e-learning - scripts, screens, games etc. Great fun and well received.

Don't buy more courses to try and get the thing you want. 

The resistance to getting what you want is actually inside your head. 

Give me three minutes and I'll show you how to go from searching and overwhelm to one simple task to practice. That will inevitably get you the results that you want. 

Think of me as your professional Oracle. I've trained and coached over a thousand people over the last 20 years. All my videos have a takeaway, something actionable that you can do straight away. Otherwise you won't do anything. 

So you want to feel better generally by getting something new that you don't have now. So it could be a new job. It could be a new image. It could be a new business, or it could be completely reinventing yourself. 

Some of you don't know what you want. I can help with that too.  

What you don't want to do, I'm hearing, is you don't want any more morning routines. You don't want another million guru programs: On business or confidence. 
Where you get no results that last. 
And you have to watch a hundred videos.  

What I do is allow you to see the belief that's blocking you and your current persona from doing this thing; so that you can align with the belief you need and become the person who just does it. 
The key is to take action.
Because confidence is on the other side of action. 
But the problem is your current personality doesn't want you to take action for all sorts of reasons. 

So, this is quite a quick five minute mind shift. Think matrix, upload here. There's no long course to do here. 

So there's just three simple steps that make this work. 

1. Understand why you do what you do. And there's a simple formula Be do get. 
Who you are, what you believe your identity, causes you to do and say the things you do, which cause you to get the results that you get. 
2. Work out what the current belief is in your identity that's causing you to do and say things that are getting you the wrong result or stopping you from doing the things that would get you the result. 
3. Then we find the opposite belief or a different belief that will effortlessly create those results that you want. 

And then you practice doing that. 
This works with everything. 

You can become the new kind of entrepreneur you want to be or whatever it is that you dream of. But you've got to stop believing the unhelpful thing. That's blocking you.

Drink, binge watch Netflix, stay hyper busy to the point of burnout to avoid thinking about it or you say affirmations, plan and plan but never execute.

Sadly, then you...
Feel worse, less capable because breaking promises to yourself decreases your self trust and making you even less confident you could have the outcome. 

It is failing because it doesn’t address the real problem – the current 'you' is not willing to do it – or you would have done it already. True?

Understand confidence comes after action not before. 
You need to become the person who takes action easily on this, then confidence will follow quickly after - even if you don't win first time, it's not a deal breaker for You 2.0!

My Persona Alignment System deals with the real problem – that your current ‘persona’ dreams about this, whereas for You 2.0, it is a minimum standard. I have used this to help people leave 'sensible' jobs for dream jobs and running their own companies, to stop myself bumping into everything, helped someone give up smoking and someone else lose enough weight to get IVF and become pregnant!

A confession. When anyone brings up the topic of AI these days, I start feeling a bit sick.

Why? A combination of overexposure, hype cycle vertigo, and deja-vu in the face of a torrent of Panglossian hogwash about “new dawns” that doesn’t stand up to the barest scrutiny in our hyper-capitalist world.

And when I see posts or discussions about AI, I always end up thinking two things:

1. Why is no-one making the argument that the answers to our many problems are not found in machines, but in human creativity, care and consciousness?
2. This won’t end well

Still, I might be wrong about all this… Often am. And lots of other people seem to think the future is going to be all kinds of ‘awesome’, and that we’re all going to end up living in a sort of luxury communist utopia.

So, I took a Gaviscon and convened a panel of smart people to dig into the topic of AI. My aim: to explore not only what’s going on with the technology itself, but what AI means for us consultants.

Et voila: the new edition of The Consultancy Business podcast, out today. Joining me are a clutch of excellent speakers from the Pomona Partners roster: Dan Sodergren, Dr Simon Moore and Liz Timoney. Together we explore:
