I am the Co-founder of Magna NDIS Consultant, an ethical, impact-driven consulting firm helping disability service providers grow sustainably while delivering better outcomes for people with disabilities. 

Magna works globally with disability service providers and allied health providers in Australia, UK, US, and the GCC.

As a disability advocate and autism inclusion strategist, I use my work at Magna and my LinkedIn presence to advance autism and disability acceptance locally and globally. My approach blends lived values with evidence-based strategies, ensuring providers grow in ways that protect rights, dignity, and choice.

At Magna, our growth strategies are built around empathy, placing providers in the shoes of their clients, and ensuring every operational and marketing initiative reflects authentic, person-centred service delivery.

Previously, I served as CAE for a listed company in Saudi Arabia and as a Consultant with EY in the USA and the Middle East, bringing global growth, and operational expertise into the disability and allied health sectors.

I won’t be doing a 2025 recap.

But over the next few posts, I’m sharing a life-and-reflection recap instead.

I’ve been quiet.

Not because I didn’t have anything to say.
Because I did.

I just didn’t feel like explaining myself anymore.

When you stop talking for a bit, you notice things.

Like, who’s still panicking?
Who’s still arguing about the same stuff?
Who’s still convinced this next thing will fix everything?

Meanwhile… things have shifted.

Not loudly.
Not publicly.

But enough that you can’t unsee it once you do.

Life & reflection recap — part 1
 
As a kid, I didn’t always have friends.
 
Not because I was unkind.  
Because my intelligence made people uncomfortable.
 
So I learned to shrink.
 
Teacher asks a question I know the answer to?  
Stay silent.
 
Other kids copying my maths or physics exam?  
Let them.  
Maybe they’ll like me.
 
It took me a long time to understand this:
 
The thing people fear in you  
is often the thing they eventually look for.
 
Difference isn’t the trait.  
It’s whether you learn to use it — or bury it.
 
Most people choose the second.  
It’s quieter.  
Safer.  
More socially acceptable.
 
But it comes at a cost.
 
So this year, I stopped editing the edges.
 
That included embracing my full cat-lady energy  
and letting her sit in on our marketing videos  
like she owns the place.  
(Because she does.)
 
Oddball? Absolutely.  

Smaller? Not anymore.

If you’re a provider leader heading into 2026 without a plan for:

Here’s what I’m seeing providers get wrong right now:

𝗠𝗬𝗧𝗛: “If we word reports better, we can win bigger budgets.” 
𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗧: Budgets are moving from 𝗮𝗿𝗴𝘂𝗲𝗱 → 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 

𝗠𝗬𝗧𝗛: “I-CAN v6 is just another optional form.” 
𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗧: It’s being positioned as the 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗲 (16+). 

𝗠𝗬𝗧𝗛: “The ART will fix dodgy funding decisions.” 
𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗧: Yes, ART exists — but there’s a real concern that the external review pathway will be nullified by how the ICAN-v6 is implemented.
