• Supported development of the large volumetric capture stage
• Maintained and debugged CUDA device code and host-side CUDA abstractions

• Analyzed existing computer vision code for bottlenecks using nvprof, Nvidia NSight, and VS Performance Profiler

Rowan Virtual Reality Lab

As a developer at the Rowan VR Lab, I worked on creating a VR database demo for a customer. My main contributions included:
• Writing the abstraction layer for the customer's REST API which allowed for easy searching, sorting, and downloading of data
• Porting certain gameplay aspects to various devices including PC Standalone (Keyboard and Mouse input), Oculus Go, and Oculus Rift
• Programming UI objects for VR world-space compatibility

XR Developer

OPEX Corporation

• Used Visual Studio Performance Profiler to find bottlenecks and improve performance of a 2D graphics display by 80%
• Integrated Plastic SCM into the build system by adding code to allow checkins to main during a build, which previously would have broken the build and lost a significant amount of information about exactly which changes were in each version.

Software Engineering Intern

• Updated the iBot location GUI based on feedback from technicians using the MFC drawing API
• Added new features to the software licensing system.
• Tagged builds with version number and commit hashes in Jenkins
• Wrote Python scripts for data collection, cleaning, and display to help with motor tuning for the iBots

I am a computer engineer and lifelong generalist with interests spanning general purpose GPU programming,  3D graphics rendering, game development, web development, functional programming, embedded electronics, and audio. Given my generalist tendencies, I thrive in positions where I can work on a variety of tasks and soak up new knowledge.

My less relevant skills and hobbies include tabletop/video gaming, woodworking, playing and composing classical music, cooking, and taking care of my Komondor puppy.
