Every founder I’ve seen get to $1M/month has one thing in common.

When we first started running creatives, I thought it was simple:

Test a lot. Copy what’s working for competitors. Eventually, something will hit.

And sometimes… it did.

Especially when we found winners in other countries and brought them to new markets. That’s still a good play.

But here’s what I learned the hard way:

If your competitor is bigger than you, and you’re trying to copy their ads in the same market, you’re playing their game. You’ll always be second, and never actually scale.

That’s where most 7–8 figure brands get stuck.

You’re testing a lot, maybe even spending $50k–$200k/month, but you’re recycling the same concepts. The angles aren’t hitting. Ad fatigue kills you because you’re not being different enough.

At Growthub, we started scaling once we built systems to beat competitors WITH CREATIVES.

We moved from copying to positioning.

That’s the real key.

Why?

Because more likely than not, you have competitors in your industry.

And if you don’t know how to go against your customers’ other options in your creatives…

You’ll never beat them.

Simply testing more ads is underrated.

It’s a cycle. You test, you learn. You test again, you get sharper.

Yes, it costs money. Yes, you’re gonna “burn” some of it, especially when you don’t know your ICP or ideal angle to scale yet. But that’s the cost of finding the customer avatar to actually scale with.

And no, the first or second batch won’t give you your money back. 

That’s not the point. The point is the data you get back from that testing is more valuable than any research you’ve done before.

Like, what would you rather have? 

A: Data from a spreadsheet full of reviews

or B: Data straight from Meta, from the platform where you're actually spending money to scale?

Hey, a lot of new people started following recently…

So here’s a quick re-introduction about myself:

At 18, I was delivering pizzas to make some money.

Then I got curious about online business. Started learning through YouTube, reading Reddit, messing around with dropshipping.

At some point I realized something that changed everything for me,

If I take full responsibility, I can fix anything.

That mindset carried me through university, which, by the way, was fully in English, and I barely spoke it at first. So I had to learn fast.

During that time, I met Bogdan (my current business partner), we studied, partied, and stayed in touch while he went deep into video and I kept going with marketing.

Most brand owners always think about hiring.

(Here's why that's killing you):

Here’s why (and what to do about it):

In 2025, every brand and SaaS is testing UGC.

That was fine 3 years ago but now it’s not enough to scale.

Ads like this one are spending for my clients because:

1. The hook is disguised as entertainment

Instead of opening with the product and the brand name, we start with something a bit more organic.

This is not normal for an ad, and we create a curiosity loop with the initial question that makes our viewers curious for what the actor is going to answer.

2. POV shot

Since it’s filmed from the perspective of the interviewer…

The viewer feels like they’re the one asking the question.

Plus, it adds a ton of uniqueness that helps with ad fatigue and ad account variability.

3. It doesn’t feel like an ad until a certain point

We don’t mention the exact product or client until after 15s.

The ad looks like content, only then does the product slide in after using our selling blocks:

- Boost metabolism and crush cravings

So you can

- Avoid things that sound like gimmicks
- Supported by doctors

And a product reassurance by saying how:

- The product tastes smooth and not bitter

Throwing more UGC at your ad account won’t save performance.

UGC is one format.

But winning accounts scale because they repurpose the same winning angle into multiple formats.

It’s the same one that’s generated over $3M for my clients this year alone…

Podcast ads only work when they actually look and sound like the real thing.

My team just crushed it with this one:

- Two people holding a real conversation
- Editing that’s not too invasive but still adds a ton of flavor
- Audio that doesn’t sound like a bathroom
- Scriptwriting that doesn’t scream that you’re getting sold

Without those, people scroll. Or worse, your ads get fatigued due to a lack of variety.

That's why when we have to spend on a great studio to create these, we don't hesitate.

Unlike boring conventional UGC you’ve been probably testing for over a year now with the same creator, angle, and approach…

This converts like crazy.

Here's how to scale your SaaS to $1M/month profitably:

In the last 4 months, we helped one of our clients scale from $544K to over $1.01M/month in ad spend. 

Not just by launching more ads, but by building a system around what mattered: LTV to CAC.

That was the constraint.

Just one question: are we acquiring customers at a cost that makes sense for how much they spend later?

So every decision, creative, lps, media buying was made from there.

Here's the 3-month breakdown:

February was a reset month.

We introduced a full ad refresh, swapped out fatigued winners, and focused hard on replacing top performers before they dropped.

The best ad that month?

A street interview filmed in January that spent $76K on its own nearly the client's entire ad account budget just 8 months before.

Stats:
- $566K ad spend
- 11.2K trials started

March was about matching creative with landing pages.

We tested 17 variations that month alone.

A past ad with iterations was paired with an LP we found best after testing and spent $100K+.

We tracked LTV:CAC by country daily, and when we saw it dip below 1.0 in the UK, we immediately swapped angles and layouts to correct.

Stats:
- $742K ad spend
- 12.3K trials started

April was crazy.

A skit conversation became the highest spender, with a stealth creative format we’ve proven to work across several accounts: one actor, playing both parts, written with our authority-focused script structure.

(We never outsource scriptwriting, it's our goldmine)

This ad directly addressed and discredited other “good” solutions in the space like Canva, GPT, and scheduling tools and offered a better way, tailored to people who had already tried them.

Stats:
- $1.05M ad spend
- 16.6K trials started

By the end of Q2, we had launched:

- 51 landing page tests
- 400+ creatives
- Over 6 different concepts over $100k in spend

And we kept LTV:CAC above 1.0 in both US and UK

The only reason this worked was because we didn’t treat creative, CRO, and media buying separate.

Everything fed into everything else.

We knew what our winners needed to do on the front-end.

We had the creative strategy set before fatigue hit.

And we built every piece of this with CAC in mind.
